Job description

Overview:

NFI Industries is a leading Dedicated Transportation provider, delivering results with its dry, refrigerated, flatbed, tanker, and specialized equipment solutions. The Dedicated Sales Director is responsible for maintaining and developing business relationships with customers and prospects by exploring opportunities across the US. This position reports to the Regional Vice President (RVP) of Sales. 

Responsibilities:
  • Day-to-day marketing and prospecting of leads.
  • Develops proposals and builds customized solutions for clients based on Dedicated Transportation needs.
  • Provides administrative duties, ensuring pipeline and customer contact information remains updated and accurate.
  • Maintains relationships with existing customers through regular communication and on-site visits.
  • Collaborates with operations, pricing, accounting, and customer service to address issues and concerns.
  • Sources and prospects for new opportunities within assigned regions.
  • Participates in contract, rate schedule development, and bid reviews.
  • Creates and delivers high-quality presentations tailored to customer needs.
  • Partners with peers and management to enhance sales techniques and strategies.
Qualifications:
  • Desire to succeed in a quota-driven sales environment.
  • Ability and availability to travel as business needs dictate.
  • Minimum of 5 years of sales experience within the transportation industry, with Dedicated transportation sales experience required. Or a minimum of 5 years’ experience in Dedicated Operations.
  • Asset Truckload (TL) experience is required
  • Strong knowledge of Dedicated transportation solutions, including contract carriage, customized equipment, routes, and schedules.
  • Familiarity with PC (Microsoft applications).
  • Strong knowledge base of the industry and marketplace.
  • Strong customer service skills and relationship-building expertise.
  • Excellent communication skills to articulate the company’s value proposition effectively.
  • Proven experience in prospecting and developing new business.
  • Strong marketing background and capability.
  • Excellent analytical skills to assess, design, and sell tailored solutions.

We are excited to share that the base salary range for this position is $125,000.00 - $150,000.00, based on the national average for the position. NFI takes into consideration applicants' qualifications, experience, education, and geographic location when determining a starting rate of pay.
