SALES EXECUTIVE

Purpose

The Sales Executive is responsible for identifying, engaging, and closing new business opportunities for Clinisys solutions, expanding its footprint in the healthcare and clinical diagnostics space. As the face of Clinisys to potential clients, this role demands a proactive, results-driven professional with a strong “hunter” mentality. The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced environments, excels at building strategic relationships, and is passionate about delivering innovative solutions that address complex challenges in healthcare and clinical diagnostics.

Essential Functions

· Drive net-new business sales to consistently exceed assigned annual revenue targets

· Proactively identify, engage and cultivate relationships with new customers to fuel pipeline growth and order intake

· Monitor competitive landscape to inform strategic positioning and sales tactics

· Develop and execute targeted sales strategies to penetrate key accounts and verticals

· Generate and qualify new leads within assigned territory to build a robust pipeline and surpass quota

· Maintain accurate and timely sales activity records in CRM platforms (salesforce.com and netsuite.com)

· Deliver persuasive sales presentations and lead complex contract negotiations with decision-makers.

· Strategic targeting and opportunity planning skills required

· Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned to support business growth.

Skills Needed to Be Successful -

· Knowledge of Clinisys solutions, including the ability to articulate a clear, concise return on investment value statement

· Ability to properly qualify prospects and opportunity creation to maximize an efficient sales cycle

· Proven success selling complex healthcare software solutions; laboratory industry experience and cold-calling proficiency are strong assets

· Strong networking capabilities with the ability to engage stakeholders across all levels, including C-suite executives

· Ability to maintain a high level of productivity, manage multiple competing priorities and work effectively under the pressure of time constraints in a dynamic environment

· Self-motivated, accountable, and committed to representing Clinisys with professionalism and integrity

· Excellent communication, time management, decision-making, presentation, and interpersonal skills

Required Experience & Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, sales, or marketing, or equivalent work experience in business or sales management

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in selling healthcare software solutions

  • Minimum 4 years experience in New Logo sales

  • Demonstrated track record of consistently closing new business deals

  • Experience leveraging AI tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot) to enhance prospecting and streamline sales processes

Preferred Experience & Education

  • 7 years of experience in selling enterprise software, ideally within healthcare or clinical diagnostics

  • Knowledge of Healthcare IT industry, specifically clinical diagnostics strongly preferred

  • Knowledge of CRM platforms (SalesForce.com and/or Netsuite.com) strongly preferred

  • Integrated Delivery Systems experience desired

  • Prefer candidates in the US Central or Mountain time zones

Physical Requirements

· Work is performed in a normal office setting with minimal exposure to health or safety hazards. Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

· 70% Travel may be required

· Moderate lifting/carrying 15-44 lbs.; use of fingers; walking/standing 2-6 hours

· Exposure to hazardous materials or various weather conditions

· Travel to client sites that can pose risk associated with healthcare organization.

· May be required to follow customer location health and safety requirements

For part-timers, your coverage will vary as you may be eligible for some of these benefits depending on your individual circumstances.

The starting pay range for a candidate selected for this position who is generally within the range of $75,000-$110,000 for annual base salary. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay may be above or below this range.

Onboarding

As part of our onboarding process, all new employees will be required to attend/travel to the office on their first day of employment (Indianapolis, IN/ Raleigh, NC / Tucson, AZ). This requirement is essential for onboarding activities, including identity verification, completion of necessary documentation, receiving your IT equipment, introductions to key team members, and orientation to Clinisys policies and procedures.
