Role Summary
The Azure Cloud Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting secure, scalable, and resilient cloud solutions within Microsoft Azure. This role will support SupplyLogic’s cloud modernization, identity and access management, endpoint management, automation initiatives, and hybrid cloud integration. The engineer will also collaborate with IT leadership to continually enhance cloud governance, security posture, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
1. Azure Identity & Access Management (RBAC)
· Design and maintain Azure Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) models aligned with least-privilege standards.
· Audit and optimize permissions for users, groups, managed identities, and service principals.
· Implement and maintain Conditional Access, MFA, and identity protection policies in Microsoft Entra ID.
2. Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) & Hybrid Identity
· Manage and optimize authentication, SSO, and lifecycle management using Entra ID.
· Support hybrid identity configurations, including Azure AD Connect and directory synchronization.
· Troubleshoot and improve hybrid authentication flows and Azure AD integrations.
3. Endpoint Management with Microsoft Intune
· Deploy, configure, and manage Windows/macOS endpoints using Intune.
· Implement device compliance policies, configuration profiles, and security baselines.
· Integrate Intune with Entra ID for unified endpoint and identity management.
4. Azure Infrastructure Engineering
· Build and maintain Azure resources including VMs, networking, virtual networks, storage, and firewalls.
· Implement secure, scalable, fault-tolerant designs based on business and compliance needs.
· Support cloud migrations, modernization projects, and integration with on-prem systems.
5. Automation, CI/CD, and DevOps
· Develop automation using Powershell and Azure DevOps pipelines.
· Improve deployment efficiency and reduce manual operations through scripting and IaC.
· Support CI/CD workflows for infrastructure and application deployments.
6. Data Governance & Cloud Security
· Support Microsoft Purview, Information Protection, and DLP policy implementation.
· Implement cloud governance frameworks including tagging, cost management, and monitoring.
· Collaborate with Compliance and Security teams to maintain adherence to SOC2 and other requirements.
7. Monitoring, Optimization & Operational Support
· Implement and tune monitoring solutions such as Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Sentinel.
· Optimize performance, cost, and reliability across Azure workloads.
· Troubleshoot cloud services, identity issues, and endpoint configuration problems.
