The Data Models Analytics & Calculation area within the Housing domain is responsible for the data logistics chain for lending in the bank. This data warehouse has to be of high quality because of regulatory requirements; completeness, precision, and timeliness are key. The data warehouse is based on a model-driven approach and uses data warehouse automation via a framework.

Position and your profile:
The Senior Software Engineer focuses on defining, designing, and/or realizing ICT solutions, within the set frameworks. You provide Solution Architect with input for the new solutions. You also monitor that good development principles are followed in daily practice. With the help of your analytical thinking skills, you think along in professionalizing the work and automating it. You also guide less experienced colleagues in their work. You are a proactive team player who works closely with other disciplines in the DevOps team.
You, therefore, have a natural drive to delve into the adjacent disciplines (T-shape). Collaborating with the Business Analysts in the team is natural for you and, where necessary, you also take care of part of the (data) analysis and the Aprototype creation. With your experience, you also pitch in the problem areas of the team e.g. helping the testers in creating a test strategy. You have good communication skills. You know how to put forward your own opinion by means of convincing and appealing arguments, whereby your attitude and tone match the other. This ensures broad support. You are also result driven; you work towards a good (enough) result in one go. You regularly coordinate your activities and priorities with stakeholders within and outside the team. In addition, your focus is on initiating improvement. You are self-aware, you know your unique qualities and know how to use them as effectively.
