Job description

Based in Los Angeles, BD&J Injury Lawyers is a leading personal injury law firm, having recovered over $2 billion for our clients. We pride ourselves on providing results-driven representation and a client experience people can trust.

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented Junior WordPress Website Developer to support our Marketing team with front-end website development and optimization. This role is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in web development who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities include:

Build and design WordPress pages that stay consistent with brand standards
Develop new and update existing web pages to support marketing campaigns
Implement responsive layouts using HTML, CSS, and Avada WordPress theme tools
Ability to design layouts “in browser” following similar layouts
Ability to design “in-browser” to recreate established layouts for new pages
Support light back-end development tasks when needed
Work across multiple firm websites and digital properties

Skills & Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in website development and design
• Proficiency in WordPress, including common plugins
• Strong knowledge of HTML and CSS
• Experience working with the Avada WordPress theme
• Familiarity with PHP and JavaScript
• Understanding of SEO best practices
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow design direction
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (XD, Photoshop, etc.)
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a remote environment

Nice to Have:
• Experience building marketing or lead generation websites
• Experience with page speed optimization and performance improvements
• Additional WordPress back-end development experience
