Looking for a Senior Strategist, Gaming
The Senior Strategist, Gaming will be responsible for leading influencer and marketing strategy across Open World, with a focus on gaming audiences, creator ecosystems, and launch strategy.
Reporting to the SVP of Marketing, this role connects insight to execution. You will develop creator-led marketing strategies, translate player behavior into campaign direction, and help brands and game studios show up meaningfully in gaming culture. The role is client-facing — you will present strategy, research, and campaign thinking to both internal teams and external partners, and contribute directly to new business development.

- Building influencer and creator strategies tailored to specific gaming audiences, genres, and player segments.
- Identifying the right creators and content formats based on platform behavior and gameplay dynamics.
- Shaping campaign approaches that leverage creators across launches, seasonal updates, and live-service moments.
- Developing strategies for new game launches, major updates, and key in-game events.
- Analyzing gaming audiences, creator ecosystems, and platform behavior to identify the right player segments, cultural entry points, and emerging trends.
- Using proprietary research and data to inform strategic recommendations and sharpen campaign direction.
- Presenting strategy, research, and creative approaches clearly to clients and internal teams.
- Contributing strategic thinking to pitches and new business opportunities.
- Supporting client conversations with a clear perspective, grounded in data and gaming expertise.
- Partnering with creative, campaign, and talent teams to guide strategy from concept through execution.

- 5–8 years of experience building marketing or campaign strategy in an agency, gaming, or entertainment environment.
- Strong understanding of gaming audiences, gaming culture, and player communities.
- Top notch creative ideas that set Open World apart in the creator ecosystem
- Experience working with influencer or creator-led campaigns.
- Ability to translate audience research and platform data into clear marketing strategy.
- Familiarity with creator platforms including YouTube, Twitch, TikTok, and Discord.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, including comfort in client-facing settings.
- Ability to collaborate across teams and manage multiple priorities.

Salary Range: $100k-$120k (plus bonus)
