Hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion Financials (GL) in a cloud environment
Strong knowledge of end-to-end financial cycles, including period close, consolidations, and reporting
Experience configuring GL components: Chart of Accounts, Ledgers, Legal Entities, Accounting Calendars, Journal Sources and Categories; intercompany and multi-ledger setups
Proficiency with reporting tools (FSG, OTBI, BI Publisher, Smart View, Financial Reporting Studio) and experience with data migration, reconciliation, and audit support

Requirements:

Implement and support Oracle Fusion General Ledger (GL) module, including configuring COA, ledgers, legal entities, calendars, Journal Sources/Categories, and period-close processes
Gather business requirements and translate them into functional designs and configurations; manage journal entries (manual/automated), allocations, recurring journals, and intercompany/multi-ledger setups
Configure and support Financial Reporting tools (FSG, OTBI, BI Publisher, Smart View, Financial Reporting Studio) and assist with data migration, reconciliation, and audit support
Conduct SIT/UAT testing, support go-live and hypercare activities, and provide post-go-live support and continuous improvement

Job description

This is a remote position.

We are seeking an experienced Oracle General Ledger (GL) Cloud Functional Consultant with strong expertise in financial reporting and accounting processes. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Oracle Fusion Financials, particularly in General Ledger, and a solid understanding of end-to-end financial cycles, including period close, consolidations, and reporting. Key Responsibilities: Implement and support Oracle Fusion General Ledger (GL) module. Gather business requirements and translate them into functional designs and configurations. Configure key GL components such as: Chart of Accounts (COA) Ledgers and Legal Entities Accounting Calendars Journal Sources and Categories Manage and support: Journal entries (manual and automated) Allocations and recurring journals Period close processes Configure and support Financial Reporting including: Financial Statement Generator (FSG) / OTBI / BI Publisher Smart View / Financial Reporting Studio Support intercompany accounting and multi-ledger setups.
