  • Drive revenue growth for the Medical Business in Japan and expand market share by developing new market opportunities
  • Generate new business opportunities, manage the full sales cycle, and strengthen opportunity management and forecasting using Salesforce (SFDC)
  • Acquire new deals, execute strategic sales activities, and build/maintain relationships with physicians and customers to support decision-making
  • Travel domestically 10-20% as required and operate in a remote role, reporting to the Sales Manager in Tokyo

The Sales Specialist, Mdeical is responsible for driving revenue growth for the Medical Business in Japan. This role is expected to expand market share in the Japanese market while also developing new market opportunities. Key responsibilities include generating new business opportunities, managing the full sales cycle, and strengthening opportunity management through Salesforce (SFDC). You will focus on acquiring new deals, executing strategic sales activities, and ensuring accurate pipeline management and forecasting.


While the business already has a strong and loyal customer base among physicians, there remains significant potential for further market share growth. By leveraging your previous experience, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact and take on this role with a strong sense of ownership and professional fulfillment.

This position reports to the Sales Manager located in Tokyo and will be a remote role. 

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Years of experience:5 years of sales experience in the healthcare industry
  • Japanese native
  • Strong Communication Skills

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

  • Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
  • Ability to travel – 10%-20% domestic business trips

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Experience working with a medical device manufacturer or distributor is highly preferred.
  • Experience supporting surgical procedures in the fields of surgery and/or ophthalmology is a plus.
  • English proficiency is a plus (e.g., email correspondence and participation in online training).

日本でのメディカル事業部の売上成長に専念します。 このポジションは、日本の市場シェアを拡大し、新しい市場を開拓することが期待されています。新規商談の獲得/販売/ SFDCを利用した商談管理の強化等に注力して頂きます。ドクターの中にはコアなファンも数多くいらっしゃいますが、マーケットシェアはまだまだ伸びていきますのでこれまでのご経験をもとに、やりがいをもって取り組んで頂くことができます。

要件

経験;

  • 医療業界での、営業経験5年以上必須。医療機器のご経験尚可。
  • 医療機器メーカーやディーラーでのご経験者は歓迎します。
  • 外科・眼科分野での手術立ち合い経験あれば尚可。

学歴:   大卒もしくは同等程度

言語:  日本語は必須、英語力があれば尚可 (Emailでのやり取り、 オンライントレーニングなど)

出張: 国内出張あり。 10~20%程度 

勤務地:首都圏もしくは関西エリア

その他:コミュニケーション能力、交渉スキルをもとに顧客やビジネスパートナーとの関係構築ができ、ラインマネージャー、同僚とのコミュニケーションを大切にし、チームとしても成果を出す事が出来る方。
