Job Role: Sales Specialist

Compensation range: $1,500 AUD - $2,000 AUD / Monthly

Engagement type: Independent Contractor Agreement

Work Schedule: This role is expected to align with the US & AU business hours for collaboration and customer connection, but as a contractor, you’ll have flexibility in how you manage your time.

Who We Are: At Hunt St, we help Australian companies hire top remote talent in the Philippines. For this role, you will be engaged directly by the client as an independent contractor. We are not an outsourcing agency. All of our roles are 100% remote so you'll be able to work from home.

Who The Client Is: A Brisbane-based health and wellness company listed on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX) focuses on developing natural products designed to promote relaxation, improve sleep quality, and support anxiety relief. Its product portfolio includes plant-based wellness solutions such as kava powders, instant drinks, shots, capsules, and hemp-derived products, distributed across international markets.

With increasing demand across Australia, New Zealand, and the United States, the company is expanding its commercial team and is seeking a proactive professional to both support and be part of its growing frontline sales operations.

Role Overview: We are seeking a Sales Specialist to join our team in a newly created standalone sales role. This position will play a key role in the sales pipeline, managing inbound inquiries, and maintaining strong relationships with independent retail partners and developing new business leads.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, confident in phone conversations, and experienced in managing sales pipelines through CRM systems. This role will also be responsible for building sales communication templates and automations across multiple channels including email, SMS, and phone.

Experience in the supplements, nutraceutical, or vitamin industry is highly preferred. Familiarity with South Pacific products such as Kava is considered a strong advantage.


Key Responsibilities: 

  • Manage and respond to inbound sales inquiries from potential customers and partners.
  • Maintain and manage sales pipelines through CRM tools.
  • Conduct lead research and prospecting across the Australian, New Zealand, and US markets.
  • Build and maintain relationships with direct-to-store independent retailers.
  • Create and manage sales communication templates across email, SMS, and phone channels.
  • Develop sales automation workflows to improve outreach and follow-ups.
  • Support the commercial quoting process and prepare sales proposals.
  • Create and manage sales documentation using PandaDoc or similar tools.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and support sales reporting.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in sales support, sales operations, or inside sales roles.
  • Strong communication skills, particularly phone-based conversations and relationship building.
  • Experience using CRM platforms to manage sales pipelines.
  • Ability to create sales automations, templates, and workflows.
  • Experience with sales documentation tools such as PandaDoc (or similar).
  • Strong research and lead generation skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a standalone role.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the supplement, nutraceutical, or vitamin industry.
  • Familiarity with Kava products or South Pacific wellness products.
  • Experience working with international markets (AU, NZ, US).
  • Background supporting retail or independent store sales channels.
  • High level skills in Monday.com CRM would be an advantage
