Work Location: This role works from one of our offices in Northeast Ohio (Akron, Cuyahoga Falls, Wooster) every Tuesday and Wednesday and can work remotely other days

Role Objective

Proactively identify the right business questions, gather and evaluate descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive information, generate and communicate insights, recommendations, and solutions to complex problems enabling the enterprise to achieve its purpose, vision, and profitability targets.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

 

  • Develop models and tools to evaluate supply chain scenarios and recommend improvements for efficiency, throughput & capacity optimization, cost savings and resource utilization
  • Analyze key business information, identify insights, and advise business leaders of emerging trends and recommendations
  • Develop tools for automated display of information, transforming data into actionable insights
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and business leaders on recommendations and paths forward, including presentation to senior leadership
  • Report and analyze operating results, evaluating performance against budgets, forecasts, and longer-term trends
  • Evaluate risks and opportunities, identify potential outcomes, and provide perspective on probability of various outcomes
  • Bring a natural curiosity to the work, as well as high levels of personal accountability and abilty to build cross-functional partnerships
  • Possess professional written, oral and verbal communication style with an ability to communicate succinctly and confidently
  • Maintain composure and presence in highly ambiguous situations 

 

Education and Experience

Required Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, supply chain or another quantitative field
  • Minimum four (4) years' experience in supply chain analysis or another finance function
  • Advanced level Excel skills and proficiency in other MS Office programs

Preferred Experience:

  • Background in manufacturing or distribution environment
  • Competency in PowerBI and/or Tableau
  • Experience leveraging AI tools - prompt engineering
  • MBA in a relevant field

Supervision/Coordination

  • Analytical lead on cross functional teams
  • This role does not directly supervise other team members

Compensation & Benefits

The expected starting pay for this role is between 92,200.00 - 126,800.00 per year. Within this range, an offer will depend on factors such as level of experience and technical competencies relevant to this specific role, as well as internal equity considerations.
