Job description

Assessment Systems is a company that is focused on helping certification/licensure organizations (e.g., a national association of nurses) to develop and deliver exams that are aligned with best practices, international standards, and psychometric science.  We want tests to be smarter and fairer for the examinees, and also to provide streamlined operations that allow testing organizations to focus on growing their profession.

The Certification Exam Coordinator is a part-time position supporting the successful development and delivery of programs on behalf of our clients. This role provides support for both test development activities and core administrative processes.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with test development tasks, including coordinating item review sessions, preparing review materials, updating item banks, and tracking item status.
  • Support routine assessment operations by helping with test form assembly, quality checks, and documentation updates.
  • Process certification and recertification applications, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely communication with candidates.
  • Generate and distribute monthly program reports, maintaining accurate records and performance data.
  • Maintain organized documentation, schedules, and workflows across assessment and certification activities.

Qualifications
  • Must have experience working with exams or a professional certification board
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively.
  • Preferred: Experience in a Test Development role
  • Preferred: Graduate degree in assessment, education, or other relevant field

Details
  • Fully remote position with US daytime work hours
  • Target $20-30 per hour

  • This position has no direct supervisory responsibility but will coordinate the work of several staff.

  • This is a part-time, contracted position
  • No travel.
