  • Lead strategic community partnerships with nonprofits, faith-based and advocacy organizations to advance organizational goals, reduce health disparities, and strengthen the care continuum.
  • Advise leadership by identifying emerging trends, risks, service gaps, and opportunities—particularly for Members with IDD and TBI—based on community and lived experience input.
  • Oversee development and implementation of programs for BH/IDD/TBI populations, including complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives and regional expansions, ensuring sustainability, quality, and alignment with member-centered goals.
  • Manage partnerships, programs, and community events; conduct research, needs assessments, and training to identify growth opportunities.

FLSA Status: Exempt

Posting Salary Range: $87,652 - $117,232

Office Location: Remote within North Carolina.

What We’re Looking For


Trillium Health Resources has a career opening for a Director of Community Relations and Partnerships to join our team! The Director of Community Relations and Partnerships is responsible for leading the organization’s strategy for building, strengthening, and sustaining relationships with external stakeholders to advance Trillium’s mission, growth, and community impact. The Director of Community Relations and Partnerships connects the organization to the community in meaningful, strategic ways that expand impact and turn relationships into measurable outcomes. The Director will shape how care is designed, delivered, and improved by aligning organizational strategy with community voice, embedding accountability, and equity into the foundation of a quality driven culture of care.


On a typical day, you might:


  • Lead strategic community partnerships with nonprofits, faith-based and advocacy organizations to advance organizational goals, reduce health disparities, and strengthen the care continuum. 
  • Advise leadership by identifying emerging trends, risks, service gaps, and opportunities—particularly for Members with IDD and TBI—based on community and lived experience input.
  • Oversee development and implementation of programs for BH/IDD/TBI populations, including complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives and regional expansions, ensuring sustainability, quality, and alignment with member-centered goals.
  • Manage partnerships, programs, and community events; conduct research, needs assessments, and training to identify growth opportunities.
  • Promote transparency, responsiveness, and continuous improvement by addressing concerns systemically across initiatives.

Qualifications


Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree AND a minimum of three (3) years’ experience in program development and/or program management, including evaluation and data analysis.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
  • Must reside within North Carolina. 
  • Must be able to travel within catchment as required.


Preferred:

  • Master’s Degree preferred.
  • Supervision of two (2) or more employees.
  • Delivery of IDD and/or TBI services, and event planning and management experience.
