Roles & Responsibilities

  • 3+ years experience in the security field
  • 3-5 years experience in relevant technology (security alarm sub-systems) including pre-sales development of security projects (audits, surveys, cost estimates, etc.)
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) highly desired or actively pursuing
  • Certifications in Amag, Lenel, Genetec, S2, Milestone, Exacg, Kantech, Pelco, and/or Avigilon (preferred)

Requirements:

  • Manage projects and prioritize for self, project teams, vendors, and contractors; set deadlines, assign responsibilities, and monitor progress
  • Develop reports for management review and communicate and collaborate with other teams and customers
  • Provide technical sales support to the security sales organization including proposal development; assist in solution and architecture design of building security systems
  • Conduct onsite assessments and manage the overall profitability of all projects; work with field teams to ensure proper application of systems products to meet customer expectations

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

  • Managing projects andprioritizingfor self, project teams, vendors, and contractors. 
  • Setting deadlines, assigningresponsibilities,andmonitoringtheprogressof projects.
  • Offering solutions toresolve basic project issues with limited guidance.
  • Managingproject activities against schedule/milestones,effectively.
  • Developing reportsfor management review.
  • Relying on extensivejudgmentto plan andaccomplishgoals. 
  • Communicatingand collaboratingwell with other teams and customers.
  • Demonstratingawareness of all nine areas of project management knowledge (PMBOK) or applicable PM (Project Manager)standardswith a firm understanding.
  • Supportingthe improvement ofprocesses/procedurestodrive projectefficiency.
  • Provide technical sales support to the security sales organization including proposal development. 
  • Assistingin the solution design and architecture design of building security systems. 
  • Conducting onsite assessments and managing the overall profit of all projects. 
  • Working with field teams to ensure proper application of systems products to meet customers’expectations. 

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE TEAM:

  • 3+years experienceinthesecurity field.
  • 3-5yearsexperiencein relevant technologySecurity alarm sub-systems and with pre-sales development of security projects (audits, surveys, cost estimates, etc.).
  • Certified inAmag, Lenel, Genetec, S2, Milestone,Exacg, Kantech,Pelco,and/or Avigilon, preferred.
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple projects or portions of projects and teams.
  • Proficient with ERP systems and developing reports for management review.
  • Experience with at least one of the following: public safety communications systems, cellular infrastructure, military communications, civil infrastructure construction, desired. 
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) highly desired or working towards PMP.

YOUR ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

The physical environment requires the employee to work inside.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to frequently stand, walk, sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; talk or hear; lift (overhead, waist level) from the floor, bending, frequently utilize near vision use for reading and computer use; occasionally move equipment weighing up to 15 pounds, and frequently position self to maintain computers or other equipment as needed.
