Business Development Manager, Energy (Oil & Gas and Power-Renewables)

Roles & Responsibilities

  • University / Bachelor's Degree in engineering or business
  • Post Graduation in Engineer Management – Preferred but not mandatory
  • Exposure to Oil & Gas and Power - renewables segment – preferred and ideal
  • At least 10 years of overall experience, with a minimum of 5 years in the oil & gas segment and cross-border project experience

Requirements:

  • Develop account development strategy for Oil & Gas and Power - renewables to increase regional sales volumes and achieve stable revenue growth leveraging brand value
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities; ensure Hempel is specified in the segment and with targeted accounts while working closely with the Sales Team
  • Serve as primary contact for selected key accounts, initiating and maintaining relationships at all management levels and locations; conduct in-depth market research and competitive analyses in Oil & Gas - renewables
  • Prepare reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders; support marketing strategies and promotional activities to increase brand awareness and demand

  • Developing account development strategy for Oil & Gas and Power - renewables segment aimed at increasing sales volumes in the region capitalizing on the brand value for achieving overall consistent & stable growth in revenue.

  • Developing new business opportunities and ensure Hempel is well specified in the segment and with the targeted accounts while working closely with Sales Team.

  • Primary Hempel point of contact for the selected key accounts, initiating and maintaining relations at all management levels and locations,

  • Accountable for performing in-depth market research and competition analysis in Oil & Gas and Power -renewables segment.

  • Prepare reports and presentations as required to both internal and external stakeholders.

  • Support marketing strategies & promotional events & activities for increased brand awareness and demand.

  • Educating, creating awareness and communicating –current scenarios, opportunities and way forward for oil & gas segment to relevant internal stakeholders regularly

  • Sharing of Projects & Technical Learning within the team.

  • Conducting weekly, monthly & quarterly reviews to support sales team achieving its sales targets

What Are We Looking For?

  • University / Bachelor's Degree in engineering or business
