Role Overview
We are looking for a dynamic and result-driven professional to lead our E-commerce Marketplace business. This role will be responsible for driving revenue growth, profitability, and customer experience across digital channels, including D2C platforms and global marketplaces.
This is an Individual Contributor (IC) role with strong leadership potential, requiring a high level of ownership and the ability to operate with a managerial mindset while collaborating across teams. The role will primarily focus on managing international markets.
The ideal candidate should bring relevant experience in the electronics domain, preferably mobile devices, and have exposure to business models aligned with refurbished or recommerce ecosystems. Candidates from kitchen appliances or cosmetics categories are not preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Ownership & Strategy
- Own P&L for the e-commerce business and deliver revenue and profitability targets.
- Define and execute growth strategy across D2C website and marketplaces.
- Identify new channels, partnerships, and expansion opportunities.
Revenue Growth & Performance Marketing
- Lead digital acquisition strategy across paid media, SEO, affiliates, and social commerce.
- Optimize marketing spends to achieve target ROAS and CAC benchmarks.
- Plan and execute large-scale campaigns, sales events, and promotional calendars.
Data Analytics & Insights
- Establish data-driven decision-making across all e-commerce functions.
- Monitor key metrics: revenue, traffic, conversion rate, AOV, retention, and funnel performance.
- Build dashboards and reporting frameworks for leadership visibility.
Customer Experience & Retention
- Drive superior customer journey across web and mobile platforms.
- Implement CRM, loyalty programs, and lifecycle marketing initiatives.
- Improve NPS, repeat purchase rates, and customer lifetime value (CLTV).
Marketplace & Channel Management
- Lead relationships and performance across key marketplaces (Amazon, Flipkart, etc.).
- Optimize listings, pricing strategies, and ad performance.
- Ensure compliance with SLAs, ratings, and platform metrics.
Operations & Supply Chain Alignment
- Work closely with operations, warehousing, and logistics teams to ensure smooth fulfillment.
- Optimize inventory planning, demand forecasting, and returns management.
- Improve delivery timelines and reduce operational costs.
Team Leadership & Stakeholder Management
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing e-commerce team.
- Collaborate with marketing, product, finance, and tech teams for seamless execution.
- Manage external agencies, vendors, and platform partners.

- E-commerce revenue & profitability (P&L ownership)

- Customer acquisition cost (CAC) & return on ad spend (ROAS)

Qualifications & Skills
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
- MBA preferred
Experience:
- 8+ years of experience in e-commerce/digital business
- Proven experience in managing and scaling online revenue
- Prior experience in leading teams and cross-functional projects
Technical Skills:
- Hands-on experience with platforms (Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce, etc.)
- Strong understanding of performance marketing, SEO/SEM, and analytics tools
- Proficiency in data analysis (Excel, Google Analytics, BI tools)
