Job description

Looking for Philippines-based candidates

Job Role: Paraplanner

Compensation range: $2,000 AUD - $2,500 AUD / Monthly

Engagement type: Independent Contractor Agreement

Work Schedule: This role is expected to align with the AU business hours (approx. 9 AM - 5 PM, Monday to Friday) for collaboration, but as a contractor, you’ll have flexibility in how you manage your time.

Who We Are: At Hunt St, we help Australian companies hire top remote talent in the Philippines. For this role, you will be engaged directly by the client as an independent contractor. We are not an outsourcing agency. All of our roles are 100% remote, so you'll be able to work from home.

Who The Client Is: A well-established financial advisory firm based in Australia that provides tailored wealth management and financial planning services. The business works closely with individuals and families to help them build, protect, and manage their financial future through structured advice, long-term planning, and ongoing client relationships.

Role Overview: We are looking for a highly organised and detail-driven Paraplanner to support financial advisers in delivering compliant, high-quality advice to clients. You will play a key role in ensuring advice is accurately prepared, efficiently implemented, and consistently maintained across client portfolios.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and support the production of Statements of Advice (SOA) and Records of Advice (ROA).
  • Manage ongoing client review cycles, including preparation and follow-ups.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in CRM systems such as Xplan, AdviserLogic, or Midwinter.
  • Handle implementation paperwork, including rollovers, superannuation, and new investment applications.
  • Liaise with product providers to track and manage application progress.
  • Manage day-to-day client correspondence, ensuring timely and professional communication.
  • Coordinate adviser diaries, including scheduling meetings and review appointments.
  • Ensure all documentation and processes meet compliance standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a paraplanning or related role.
  • Strong understanding of Australian financial planning processes and compliance requirements.
  • Experience using CRMs (e.g. Xplan, AdviserLogic, Midwinter, or similar tools).
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive, reliable, and able to work independently.

Work Arrangement & Expectations:

This is a remote role that will be set up as an independent contractor engagement.

To ensure alignment and transparency, successful candidates will be expected to:

  • Disclose any existing ongoing roles or client work
  • Reflect this engagement on their LinkedIn profile (clearly marked as “Independent Contractor”)
