Who The Client Is: A growing consulting firm specializes in Project and Portfolio Management (PPM) solutions powered by a dedicated PPM platform. The team works with enterprise clients across multiple industries to help organizations improve how they plan, prioritize, and deliver strategic initiatives.

Role Overview: This role is a dual role of both working as a BI Developer to create reports and dashboards, as well as system integrations specialist to support Hummingbird client’s integration with a PPM platform.
In the BI Developer role, the daily activities include providing data reporting for client analysis, working within a team to provide support services and troubleshooting issues along with designing and developing new reports and dashboards for various clients. The role includes delivering solutions in technology transformation projects that include a project portfolio platform and Business Intelligence, alongside data planning technology.
In the Systems Integration role, the successful candidate will support ongoing system integrations and data migration activities across Hummingbird clients. This includes managing API connections, monitoring data flows, and troubleshooting integration issues to ensure seamless system interoperability. They will assist with data extraction, cleansing, transformation, and loading (ETL) to support both project based and BAU migration requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop BI Dashboards and SRSS reports
- Ensure documentation and definitions of business and technical metadata are up to date and available to enable explanation of data from source systems
- Maintain datasets in accordance with metadata and Hummingbird/Planview definitions.
- Develop datasets to meet information needs.
- Identify data quality issues and support information governance by participating in necessary activities.
- Effective unit testing and debugging to ensure quality solutions are delivered for system testing.
- Convert legacy reports (primarily Business Objects) to BI solutions.
- Support ongoing system integrations and data migration activities across Hummingbird clients
- Technical design of integration workflows
- Help support the analysis of existing business processes and IT infrastructure to identify where systems need to be connected and what data needs to be shared.
- Design & Development integration solutions using APIs (Application Programming Interfaces), middleware, and various data transformation techniques.
- Implementation & Testing of deployed solutions
- Troubleshooting and documentation of all deployed solutions for clients
- Monitoring & Maintenance of all deployed solutions for clients
Requirements
Skills & Experience
- Technical Aptitude Engineering, Reverse-engineering, and tracing capabilities
- Exposure to the corporate environment working with senior executives.
- Experience in a customer interfacing role where consultancy skills are required.
- Worked as a key contributor in cross functional teams or projects.
- Previous customer support and troubleshooting.
- Track record of performance in their own area of expertise:
- Minimum 2+ years’ experience working across industry / product / architecture domains.
- Minimum 2+ years’ experience delivering business solutions including business value modelling, and Data Management Frameworks
- Minimum 2+ years of progressively responsible experience in a BI development or analysis
- Experience with Data acquisition, profiling, cleansing, and consolidation.
- Creating data visualizations e.g. reports, dashboard etc.
- Demonstrated capabilities in end-to-end data architecture (including data modelling, data warehousing etc.)
- Performing requirements analysis
- Testing capabilities
Technical Knowledge
- Essential:
- SQL - Low level stored procedures, complex queries etc.
- Microsoft Power BI experience
- System integrations experience

- Cognos or SSRS experience

- Qualifications & Certifications
- Certified consultant or technology equivalent accredited in specialist areas.
- At least 2-5 years of technical IT-related experience.
- Business or similar degree qualification preferred
