Product Designer

Senior Product Designer (Contract)
Location: Remote or local to Columbus Ohio

Personal Care industry leader seeking a Senior Product Designer to join a fast-paced product team and help deliver engaging, user-centered experiences across mobile and web platforms. This role is ideal for a designer who thrives in Agile environments, collaborates deeply with cross-functional teams, and can take ownership of design work with minimal oversight.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and cross-functional teams to design user-centered solutions
• Translate business and user needs into intuitive product experiences
• Create user flows, journey maps, wireframes, and high-fidelity designs
• Develop rapid prototypes to validate concepts and iterate quickly
• Contribute to and work within established design systems
• Present design work and rationale to stakeholders and leadership
• Partner in Agile processes including backlog grooming and user story creation
• Provide feedback and mentorship to other designers

Required Qualifications:

• 5–7+ years of experience in product or UX design
• Strong portfolio demonstrating both UX and UI design work
• Experience working within cross-functional Agile product teams
• Expertise in mobile and mobile-first web design
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Experience with design systems and scalable design practices
• Ability to work independently with minimal guidance

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience designing native mobile applications
• Background in ecommerce or consumer-facing products
• Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Familiarity with design research and usability testing methods
