Job Summary
 

To achieve our vision, we continue to invest in our Data Science & Analytics team to make a difference to our patients and providers. The Analytics team supports our Product, Growth, Marketing, Care, Supply Chain, and Operations teams with insights on better product development and execution to have maximum impact. Product Analysts are responsible for using detailed analyses to guide product strategy and for enabling teams across Alto to answer key business questions. You will work closely with our Product and Operations teams to support and drive high-quality, data-driven decisions.

  • Perform in-depth analysis on our prescription processing & patient care business to drive key operational decisions.

  • Design & build data models that elevate data-driven decisioning through speed to insights & data democratization.

  • Design, implement, and launch dashboards using SQL to measure the success of our product initiatives.

  • Act as a critical thought partner and collaborate closely with Finance, Product, Engineering, Growth, and Operations to provide visibility and recommend solutions that drive meaningful impact to our business.

  • Contribute to defining our team and company data culture through peer collaboration, coaching, and input into the team processes we adopt as we grow the Data Science & Analytics team together

A Bit About You

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BA/BS or Master's degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, or Data Science.

  • Minimum of 8 years of work experience in an analytics or technical role, using SQL regularly for data analysis, ETL design, and providing actionable insights.

  • Demonstrated experience influencing strategy and delivering business impact.

  • High level of comfort creating dashboards in Looker, Tableau, or similar BI tools.

  • Proven expertise in SQL-based data manipulation, with extensive experience in scripting and extracting large datasets.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to inform and influence a non-technical audience using insights found through complex technical concepts.

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with a strong bias toward actionable insights; love finding insights and getting others to act on them.

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Experience in healthcare or pharmaceutical industry

  • Experience with supply chain optimization, marketplaces, or logistics

  • Programming experience in Python or similar language

Additional Physical Job Requirements

Physical requirements for this role include the ability to work at a computer terminal with monitor, keyboard and mouse for extended periods of time, stoop, bend, and reach for equipment and supplies, make frequent repetitive motions required to operate a computer that include the wrists, hands and fingers, and lift, carry, push, pull, and move light objects up to 20 pounds. The role also requires the ability to effectively communicate through verbal interactions, discern auditory information, and visually perceive details to perform essential job functions.

Salary and Benefits

Salary Range: $149,600 - $187,000

Commission Eligible: No

Travel: Yes - Required up to 10% of the time  

Location Requirement: 

  • Alto is limited to individuals residing in the following states: Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Florida, Kansas, Maryland, Missouri, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Washington (WA), and Wisconsin.

Employment Authorization Requirement: Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.
