Brand System & Marketing Designer

Roles & Responsibilities

  • 3–5+ years of experience in brand, visual, or marketing design
  • Portfolio showing full brand systems (not just logos) and real landing page/web design examples with strong structure
  • Ability to interpret structured inputs (briefs, questionnaires) into scalable visual systems and explain design decisions in business terms
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and Figma, with clean source files and handoff assets

Requirements:

  • Brand System Development: build complete identity systems including logo system, color architecture, typography system, and visual guidelines; produce a concise brand manual (up to ~30 pages)
  • Asset Creation: apply the system across website visuals, landing pages, sales collateral, presentations, and basic marketing assets
  • Landing Page Design (No Coding): design high-fidelity desktop and mobile layouts from structured content maps with clear visual hierarchy and strong CTA
  • Structured Workflow Execution: translate inputs into structured outputs, ask clarifying questions when needed, and maintain organized files with consistent naming and version control

JOB OVERVIEW:


We are looking for a designer who can convert structured business and brand inputs into clean, usable, and repeatable visual systems.


This includes:


  • Brand identity systems

  • Brand manuals/guidelines

  • Marketing and sales assets

  • High-fidelity landing page layouts (design only, no coding)


This is a system-building role, not a one-off design role.


JOB ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Core Responsibilities

1. Brand System Development




  • Build complete identity systems:

    • Logo system (primary, secondary, icon, light/dark, usage rules)

    • Color architecture (primary/secondary/neutral + hierarchy and usage)

    • Typography system (roles, scale, spacing, rules)

    • Visual guidelines that make the brand easy to apply consistently

  • Produce a concise, structured brand manual (approx. up to 30 pages) that enables consistent execution without further explanation.

2. Asset Creation & Application

Apply the system across:

  • Website visual systems and landing page layouts

  • Sales and operational collateral (proposals, invoices, PDFs, templates)

  • Presentation systems

  • Basic marketing and social assets aligned with the brand

3. Landing Page Design (No Coding)

  • Design high-fidelity desktop and mobile layouts based on structured content maps

  • Ensure:

    • Clear visual hierarchy

    • Strong presentation of offer, proof, and CTA

    • Clean structure for developer or AI implementation

4. Structured Workflow Execution

  • Work from detailed inputs (questionnaires, strategy docs, briefs)

  • Translate inputs into structured outputs without guesswork

  • Ask clarifying questions where needed

  • Maintain organized files, naming conventions, and version control

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Tools & Technical Stack

  • Adobe Creative Cloud:

    • Illustrator (vector/logo systems)

    • Photoshop

    • InDesign (brand manuals and structured documents)

  • Figma (or equivalent):

    • Layout systems

    • Landing page design

    • Components and reusable design systems

  • File expectations:

    • Clean, structured source files (AI, PSD, INDD, Figma)

    • Exported assets (SVG, PNG, PDF, etc.)

    • Organized layers, frames, and components for reuse and handoff

Seniority & Profile

Target: Strong mid-level designer with clear potential to grow into a lead role

Experience:

  • 3–5+ years in brand, visual, or marketing design

  • Portfolio showing full brand systems (not just logos)

  • Real landing page or web design examples with strong structure

Key attributes:

  • Thinks in systems, not one-off designs

  • Can interpret structured written input and translate it visually

  • Understands hierarchy, clarity, and communication—not just aesthetics

  • Can explain design decisions in terms of business outcomes

  • Strong written and spoken English

What We Are NOT Looking For

  • Purely aesthetic or trend-driven designers

  • Inconsistent or style-heavy portfolios

  • Designers who require constant direction or vague briefs

  • Dribbble-style work without real-world application

Future Growth (Important)

This role is designed to evolve.

  • Over time, this person may:

  • Help manage additional specialized designers (motion, UI, ads, etc.)

  • Maintain quality control across all visual outputs

  • Support basic performance tracking and reporting (what is working, what is not)

  • We are not hiring a manager today—but we want someone capable of growing into that role.
