Position Overview:

We want you to join our team and contribute to our continued growth and success!

As a Digital Experience Strategist, you will play a key role in shaping and delivering high-quality, user-centric digital experiences across web and mobile platforms for a major Canadian retail client.

You will drive end-to-end UX/UI strategy and execution across campaign initiatives and broader business needs—translating business objectives into scalable, measurable, and cohesive digital experiences. Acting as a connector across multiple teams, you will ensure alignment between user needs, brand standards, and business goals, while maintaining visibility on priorities, timelines, and performance outcomes.

This role requires a strong balance of strategy, execution, and stakeholder management within a fast-paced, enterprise environment.

Requirements

UX/UI Strategy & Execution:

  • Drive end-to-end UX/UI strategy and execution across web and mobile platforms

  • Translate business and marketing objectives into actionable experience strategies and UX/UI requirements

  • Ensure alignment with brand standards, design systems, and overall site objectives

  • Guide UI Designers to ensure design outputs effectively reflect the intended experience strategy

Campaign & Workflow Management:

  • Own and manage campaign workflows from intake through execution, including development of requirements (ROB) and detailed workback schedules

  • Maintain visibility on workload, timelines, and dependencies to ensure efficient delivery

  • Support prioritization of initiatives based on business impact and capacity

Stakeholder Collaboration & Alignment:

  • Facilitate discovery sessions, workshops, and working sessions to define scope, objectives, and success metrics

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Martech, Product, Creative, Content, IT, and external partners

  • Act as a strategic connector across teams to ensure seamless execution and alignment

Performance & Optimization:

  • Measure and analyze campaign and experience performance using analytics and UX insights

  • Lead post-mortems and recommend optimizations for future initiatives

  • Partner with analytics and optimization teams to support A/B testing and experimentation strategies

Continuous Improvement & Innovation:

  • Stay current on UX/UI trends, accessibility standards, and emerging technologies

  • Contribute to improving processes, workflows, and overall digital experience quality

  • Leverage platform capabilities (e.g., AEM) to enhance experience delivery and scalability

What You’ll Bring:

  • Residency in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA), with availability for in-person meetings as needed

  • 5+ years of experience in UX/UI, digital experience strategy, or a related role

  • Undergraduate degree in Digital Design, UX, Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

  • Strong understanding of UX/UI principles, responsive design, and mobile-first best practices

  • Proven ability to translate business goals into effective digital experiences

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present strategy and rationale to stakeholders

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with experience managing multiple initiatives

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience working within Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and enterprise DXP environments

  • Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript) and frameworks such as Next.js or React Native

  • Experience with design and collaboration tools such as Figma, FigJam, and Adobe Creative Suite

  • Strong understanding of accessibility standards (AODA / WCAG) and inclusive design

  • Experience with analytics and optimization tools (Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, etc.)

  • Experience in retail, grocery, or multi-banner environments is considered an asset

  • Exposure to AI-powered tools or emerging digital technologies
