We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer with strong hands-on Kubernetes administration experience to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in managing Kubernetes environments, supporting cloud infrastructure in AWS, and troubleshooting production systems. This person will play a key role in helping drive the migration of Brook.ai from a hosted platform to a self-hosted AWS environment running ROSA within Kubernetes, while also helping educate and support the internal team throughout the transition.
Key Responsibilities:
Administer and support Kubernetes environments, including setup, configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
Help drive the migration of Brook.ai from a hosted platform to a self-hosted AWS environment running ROSA within Kubernetes.
Monitor infrastructure health and proactively identify issues affecting reliability and performance.
Debug and resolve Kubernetes and platform-related issues in production and non-production environments.
Collaborate with the existing DevOps team to improve operational stability and scalability.
Provide hands-on guidance and education to team members on Kubernetes administration best practices.
Work closely with engineering and platform teams to support deployment and environment needs.
Assist in maintaining secure, stable, and scalable cloud infrastructure in AWS.
Support ongoing platform operations in a high-priority, business-critical environment.
Contribute to process improvements that strengthen infrastructure management and team effectiveness.
Requirements
Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes administration.
At least 2 to 3 years of Kubernetes experience.
Experience with Kubernetes setup, monitoring, troubleshooting, and debugging.
Proven experience working in AWS environments.
Background in DevOps, infrastructure, or platform administration rather than primarily software development.
Ability to support and educate internal team members during a technical migration.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
