Wishpond Technologies currently has the position of Business Development Specialist available, and we’re excited to tell you about it!
 
OVERVIEW
We are looking for a detail-oriented and process-driven Business Development Specialist to join our team on a full-time basis.  This is a fully remote position,  and the successful individual could be based anywhere in the world. You will work with an amazing remote team servicing and building relationships with clients primarily based in the US and Canada.
 
As a Business Development Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing lead flow, ensuring timely follow-ups, and maintaining CRM accuracy.  This role is critical in making sure no opportunity is missed and that all sales activities are properly tracked and executed.  You will be the engine that keeps our sales team moving forward. In collaboration with the Business Development department, the Business Development Specialist is responsible for the success of Wishpond Technologies.
 
 
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Monitor outbound and inbound conversations in Instantly to ensure all positive replies are responded to promptly
• Identify and report unanswered, delayed, or mishandled responses to the SDR Manager
• Ensure all leads are properly followed up on and moved through the pipeline efficiently
• Audit Pipedrive deals to confirm accurate updates, notes, and activity tracking
• Ensure all Pipedrive activities are logged, updated, and accurate (No Yellow and Red tags)
• Verify that all deals are in the correct pipeline stages at all times
• Maintain CRM hygiene by ensuring complete and accurate documentation
• Flag bottlenecks, missed opportunities, and process gaps within the pipeline
• Work closely with SDRs, closers, and marketing to improve lead handling and conversion
• Create and share regular reports on pipeline performance and response times
• Other duties as assigned.
 
QUALIFICATIONS
• 2–4 years of experience in sales operations, pipeline management, SDR/BDR or sales support roles, or CRM administration, including experience in SaaS or B2B sales environments
• Hands-on experience with Pipedrive (or similar CRM systems)
• Familiarity with outbound tools such as Instantly or similar platforms
• Strong communication skills for reporting issues and coordinating with teams
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and ability to spot inconsistencies quickly
• As part of a diverse team, the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Must be Tech-savvy and administratively strong.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written).
• Excellent organisational and analytical skills
• Ability to manage multiple workflows and prioritize tasks effectively
 
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Given the nature of this role, it is expected that the successful candidate will provide their own workstation, computer, headset, and have a fast and reliable internet connection. This position may be required to download and utilise company software.
The individual must be prepared to work standard business hours on Pacific Time.
Due to the nature of this role, we may verify backgrounds, including conducting employment reference, criminal record and credit checks.
Once hired, the successful candidate must provide a valid government-issued photo ID and proof of residential address as part of their onboarding process.
