Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for Technical Accounting, Consolidations & Reporting
- Lead the planning, coordination, and preparation of financial statements consolidation process
- Oversee accounting activities related to corporate functions and holding entities
- Execute quarterly and annual reporting process to support timely and accurate financial statements
- Advise and partner with business leaders on M&A activities
- Review material contracts and evaluate accounting impact
- Collaborate with Legal, HR, FP&A, and other business partners on business initiatives and accounting impact
- Advise business on how to construct agreements to achieve desired outcome
- Perform technical research on accounting topics, document positions within accounting memos, and advise business on treatment
- Advise respective accounting teams on new and/or complex accounting transactions Monitor development of new and emerging accounting pronouncements
- Assess impact of new accounting literature and lead implementation of accounting standards
- Create/revise global accounting policies and ensure process for consistent application across the company
- Partner with business unit controllers to ensure accounting policies are updated to reflect current business practices and compliance with GAAP
- Develop/maintain relationships and work closely with external auditors, business leaders, and senior management to ensure communication of critical issues in a timely manner
- Lead audit process with external auditors
- Monitor/benchmark reporting and disclosure best practices and advise executive management on recommendations internally
- Identify and implement process improvements
- Conduct ad hoc analysis as needed
Qualifications and Skillsets:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 10+ years of experience, with 5+ years working in Big 4 accounting firm a plus
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, SEC filing requirements, financial reporting, and internal controls
- Ability to clearly and concisely document and effectively communicate complex accounting and reporting issues to Finance and non-Finance personnel
- Effective at building strong relationships across departments and at all levels with customer service focus
- Ability to lead, influence, and drive change with key stakeholders and executives
- Works effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple competing deadlines
- Possess agility and can adapt quickly to changing priorities

It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each case. Sales Positions are eligible for a Variable Incentive.
The pay range for this position is as follows:
$126,200-$180,300
