Requirements:

  • Perform bookkeeping duties: record daily transactions, maintain the general ledger, reconcile bank and credit card statements, and prepare financial reports (weekly, monthly, quarterly).
  • Manage accounts payable: process high volumes of vendor invoices, verify invoices and approvals, schedule and process payments (ACH, wires, checks), and reconcile AP records.
  • Provide payroll support and expense tracking, including documentation for audits and financial reviews.
  • Communicate effectively with vendors and internal teams while maintaining strict confidentiality of financial data.

Job Overview:

Healthy Mind & Brain Center is urgently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Remote Bookkeeper & Payroll Services to join our team immediately. This role is critical to maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring timely processing of vendor payments.

Key Responsibilities:

Bookkeeping Duties:

  • Accurately record daily financial transactions and maintain the general ledger
  • Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
  • Prepare financial reports (weekly, monthly, and quarterly)
  • Monitor cash flow and assist with budgeting processes
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards

Accounts Payable Duties:

  • Process high volumes of vendor invoices with speed and accuracy
  • Verify invoices, approvals, and supporting documentation
  • Schedule and process payments (ACH, wire transfers, checks)
  • Maintain vendor files and resolve billing discrepancies promptly
  • Reconcile accounts payable records and ensure all transactions are documented

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Assist with payroll support and expense tracking
  • Provide documentation for audits and financial reviews
  • Communicate effectively with vendors and internal teams
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of financial data

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in bookkeeping and accounts payable (remote experience preferred)
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles
  • Proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or similar)
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred)
