Job description

Description:

CTG is seeking an IT Release and Quality Manager to lead enterprise-wide release cycles, QA/testing functions, and DevOps integration for our client. This role reports to the Chief Architect and ensures all IT solutions meet high standards for reliability, performance, and security.

 

Location: Remote (must work CST hours)
Duration: 6–8 months

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead IT QA/testing teams and manage release cycles, UAT, CAB approvals, and DevOps testing integration.
  • Implement and improve QA processes, testing lifecycle management, and release methodologies.
  • Drive adoption of automated testing, continuous integration, and delivery practices.
  • Monitor and report on QA/release metrics, providing actionable insights to leadership.
  • Mentor and develop direct reports, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.

Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience managing QA/testing teams and enterprise release cycles.
  • Strong knowledge of DevOps, Agile/Scrum, UAT, and automated testing tools.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance, IT governance, and cloud-based solutions.

Education & Certifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • ISTQB Advanced Level or equivalent QA/Testing certification (required within 1 year if not held).
  • Agile/Scrum and DevOps/Cloud certifications (required within 1 year if not held).

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $56.00 to $62.00/hour. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
