On-Page SEO Specialist

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Proficiency with SEO tools (Ahrefs, SEMrush, Google Search Console) and knowledge of Copyscape or Surfer SEO

Requirements:

  • Keyword research, targeting, and implementation across client websites
  • Edit, optimize, and publish content to improve rankings, including creating new content and updating existing content
  • Publish and optimize landing pages in WordPress, including creating custom graphics and enhancing images for landing pages and blogs
  • Apply on-page SEO techniques (internal linking, metadata optimization, JSON schema) and collaborate with account managers, technical, strategy, and local teams on client campaigns

In this position, you’ll work with a small elite team of dynamic, creative professionals to publish and optimize high-value content for our clients in original, clever, and inventive ways. This role is perfect for someone with a keen eye for detail, with their finger on the pulse of SEO best practices, who consumes a wide variety of content like it’s candy, and can filter out the noise to see the big picture. At Rankings.io, we are committed to providing end-to-end SEM services, including content creation, technical optimization, and keyword strategy for law firms looking for aggressive growth across multiple digital platforms. 

Responsibilities

  • Keyword research, targeting, and implementation across client websites (this is a must-have)
  • Quickly and effectively executing, at a high level, client, AM, and PM requests with minimal QA revisions.
  • Editing and optimizing content to improve a client's content ranking in search engines (as needed)
  • Have a keen eye for detail and possess excellent SEO and content trends knowledge
  • Publishing new content and improving existing content
  • Publishing and enhancing landing pages in a variety of WordPress themes 
  • Creating custom graphics and enhancing images for landing pages and blogs
  • Posting and optimizing blogs for targeted phrases.
  • Using SEO principles to maximize the copy’s reach (internal linking, metadata optimization, schema)
  • Possess exceptional on-page SEO skills with high attention to detail
  • Collaborating with AMs, PMS, technical, strategy, and local on client campaigns
  • Editing content to improve optimization
  • Ensuring that SEO and AI SEO strategies are effectively implemented
  • Marking up sites and content with JSON schema (FAQPage, VideoObject, LegalService, Person, Organization).

  • Experience in the legal vertical preferred
  • SEO Certifications (Ahrefs, SEMrush, Google Analytics).
