Job Description:
Location Requirement: Candidate must reside in the Central (CST) or Eastern (EST) time zone.
The Strategic People Business Partner (PBP) works closely with leaders in our organization across the Cityblock business portfolio. The PBP is integral to the development and implementation of transformational programs across the People pipeline to shape Cityblock practices, programs, and policies that impact the Cityblock experience.
Responsibilities:
Champions and nurtures our culture, values, and mission as we integrate and scale the Cityblock business portfolio
Works collaboratively across the People team to review, recommend, and implement changes to processes to ensure optimization, streamlining, and compliance, leveraging AI and automation
Understands the business and where structure, processes, talent capabilities, and people practices can be enhanced to support business deliverables
Independently develops and implements human capital solutions aligned with the business strategy and that improve organizational effectiveness.
Coaches and consults leadership on people management issues
Builds the talent, leadership, and capabilities to align with business need.
Supports overall People initiatives and acts as the liaison to business through an experience or process
Lead cyclical HR programs and processes (i.e. performance evaluations, compensation planning, talent reviews and succession planning)
Provides guidance and strategic direction on organizational and job design to ensure that Cityblock is building a sustainable infrastructure to meet the organization’s goals
Recognizes potential employee relations issues in a proactive manner and collaborates with ER COE to resolve the issue
Implements programs, practices, policies that make the strategic connection between diversity & inclusiveness practices with organizational success
Leverages people analytics and trained instincts to aid in decision making, anticipate opportunities, and provide creative solutions to achieve the best outcomes
Supports leadership in assessing talent, identifying skill gaps, and determining staffing needs to include validating job scope and design.
Collaborates with HR COEs to successfully implement HR programs and initiatives and ensure alignment with business objectives
Be a leader, strong communicator, influencer and lead with unquestioned integrity
Experience:
10+ years' experience as a HR Business Partner or HR leadership role leading HR initiatives and driving people strategies and supporting senior leadership, preferably in a healthcare or clinical environment
Must have experience supporting a geographically dispersed workforce
Experience working in a rapidly scaling organization preferred
Education:
Bachelor’s degree
SHRM or SPHR preferred
