Roles & Responsibilities

  • Extensive enterprise Active Directory engineering and support experience
  • Proficiency with Windows Server and AD services (GPO, DNS, Trusts, Sites and Services) in multi-forest/domain environments
  • Experience with authentication protocols (SAML, OAuth, LDAP) and Microsoft Identity Manager/Azure Identity Management
  • Strong automation and scripting skills (PowerShell, batch files) and ability to document configurations

Requirements:

  • Act as the lead subject matter expert for enterprise Active Directory engineering and support, managing large-scale AD initiatives
  • Set up and troubleshoot Windows devices and resources (AD, Group Policy) to support VDI, server, and workstation deployments
  • Design, deploy, and support Microsoft Identity Manager and Azure Identity Management services; analyze and implement complex directory solutions
  • Collaborate with application teams on configuration and testing of authentication, authorization, and access; perform migrations/consolidations and participate in on-call rotations; document configurations and maintain IT standards

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

1.     Active Directory Windows Server Related Functional Support for GPO, DNS, Trusts, Sites and Services and Other Domain Relevant Services

2.     Ability to support user and workstation access needs in a multi forest/domain/tenant environment

3.     Troubleshoot and support SAML, OAUTH, Claims, and LDAP authentication protocols

4.     Translate technical needs into working technology solutions that meet requirements for operational and project initiatives for Organizational teams

5.     Independently manage and perform engineering role for large scale Active Directory efforts and initiatives

6.     Serve as subject matter expert in the area of Active Directory engineering and support

7.     Set up/troubleshoot Windows devices and resources (Active Directory, Group Policy Management) to support VDI, Server and workstation deployments

8.     Core infrastructure technology duties include enterprise Microsoft Active Directory and Windows directory services architecture creation and management, global system security and policy configuration and top-level support for enterprise-wide initiatives

9.     Deployment and support of (MIM) Microsoft Identity Manager and Azure Identity Management services

10.  Analyze, design, and implement highly complex, enterprise level Active Directory and Directory Services solutions

11.  Support migration and consolidation of Active Directory and related platforms

12.  Analyze current Active Directory environment to identify both technical and operational challenges and develop continuous improvement action plans Stays abreast on new technologies and platforms, providing direction and proposals on what emerging technologies should be assimilated, integrated, and introduced within Infrastructure Services to ensure IT capabilities respond to the needs of the enterprise's business strategy.

13.  Provides support to application teams for configuration and testing Authentication, Authorization and Access to applications

14.  Ability to administratively manage using PowerShell, Batch files, Policy Configuration, and other third-party tools

15.  Create documentation for configurations, topology, and end user support as required

16.  Maintain core infrastructure service designs and configurations in accordance with IT Standards

17.  Participate in an Oncall rotation
