Job description

The Workshop Coordinator plays a pivotal role in ensuring timely builds, efficient workflows, and full process compliance within the workshop environment. This role supports the end-to-end coordination of production jobs, ensuring materials, documentation, and processes are well-prepared and executed smoothly.

Acting as a key link between Operations, Workshop, Warehouse, and other stakeholders, the Workshop Coordinator ensures job readiness, resolves day-to-day issues, maintains accurate documentation, and keeps systems up to date to support safe, efficient, and on-time delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and manage job documentation to ensure production readiness

  • Coordinate parts and materials to support uninterrupted workflow

  • Provide hands-on support to production scheduling and job progression

  • Coordinate peripheral, non-technical activities within the Welshpool workshop, ensuring these tasks are not performed by Team Leaders, Supervisors, or Managers, enabling leaders to remain present on the workshop floor with a focus on safety and quality

  • Liaise closely with workshop teams to resolve issues and maintain workflow momentum

  • Ensure accurate system updates and compliance with internal processes
