Junior Support Engineer to PDSVISION

PDSVISION is continuing their strong growth in the Nordic region and are now looking for a curious and technically minded Junior Support Engineer to help their customers solve challenges within CAD, PLM and related enterprise‑level systems. This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys problem‑solving, customer interaction and wants to build a career in a highly technical and fast‑evolving environment.

Your Role: Junior Support Engineer

As a Junior Support Engineer, you’ll be the first point of contact for our customers when they encounter technical issues in their CAD, PLM or related environments.

You will become an expert in our customers’ systems by:

• Solving a wide range of technical issues

• Learning how complex PLM and CAD platforms work

• Collaborating closely with experienced consultants

• Contributing to both support and hands‑on configuration tasks

This role is the starting point for many of our future consultants and gives you a strong foundation in both technology and customer communication.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Troubleshoot and resolve customer incidents related to Windchill, Creo and PDSVISION applications

• Handle customer inquiries via phone, email and ticketing system

• Perform server checks and monitor system health

• Investigate issues related to licensing, installations, connectivity and performance

• Assist with client‑side installations, upgrades and silent installs

• Collaborate with senior consultants on configuration tasks

• Document solutions and maintain high service quality

• Represent PDSVISION as a professional and friendly point of contact

What You Bring

Must‑haves

• An engineering degree (MSC in Engineering or BSc in Engineering), for example within Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering

• Strong problem‑solving mindset

• Good communication skills and confidence in speaking with customers

• Curiosity and willingness to learn new technologies

• Ability to work independently and prioritize effectively

• Comfort working in both Swedish/Finnish/Norwegian/Danish and English

• A valid work permit in a Nordic country

Nice‑to‑haves

• CAD or PLM exposure (e.g., Creo, Windchill, SolidWorks)

• Understanding of servers, networks or databases

• Experience from technical support or engineering environments

• Ability to interpret logs or basic code (not required but helpful)
