F&SCM Senior Developer

Roles & Responsibilities

  • 7-10 years of development experience with Microsoft Dynamics FSCM, with deep understanding of application programming, database, and system design.
  • Experience integrating FSCM with common third-party add-ons and their integrations.
  • In-depth functional knowledge of FSCM with the ability to identify potential technical issues, offer guidance, and propose immediate solutions.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to manage other developers; Bachelor's degree in software engineering, computer science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience); Dynamics FSCM certifications are preferred.

Requirements:

  • Design, develop, and test customizations to FSCM and related solutions, including new features and integrations tailored to customer needs.
  • Collaborate with team members and business leaders to translate requirements into technical fit-gap and design documents; maintain project documentation.
  • Deliver high-quality code, test it, support early user testing, diagnose issues, and implement stable system improvements; ensure change management processes and deadlines are followed.
  • Provide technical expertise, stay up to date on Microsoft solution updates, and communicate progress; coordinate with functional consultants to create functional design documents; oversee and guide other developers when needed.

The Role:

If so, this is the role for you. As a senior Developer, you will take on the role of development of new applications and customizations while efficiently managing the existing solution. As a key member of our technology team, you will have the opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge projects that push the limits of what is possible in the software development landscape. You will help design, develop, configure and deploy code for the Microsoft Dynamics ERP application. You’ll join forces with the rest of the delivery team and clients, to create a harmonious ERP experience that aligns with business goals and industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and test customizations to F&SCM and related solutions. From new feature design to integrations, you can tailor the solution to meet the customer's needs.

  • Understand needs: Collaborate with team members and business leaders to understand and translate those needs into technical fit-gap and design documents.

  • Develop high-quality code: Deliver quality code. Test your code and support early user testing to identify issues. Understand the causes of issues and resolve them through stable system improvements.
    Ensure deadlines are met and processes are followed: Deliver high-quality code within project deadlines, while following a change management process, and coordinating with functional consultants to create functional design documents for proper code development.

  • Technical expertise: Address technical queries from customers, providing clear and concise explanations of our products and how they meet specific needs. Stay up to date on solution updates from Microsoft and the ecosystem.

  • Project documents: Maintain detailed project documentation throughout the product’s transformation.

  • Utilize project tools: Communicate functional area progress on tasks, issues, risks, and blockers.

Who you are:

  • 7-10 years of development experience with Microsoft Dynamics F&SCM with a deep understanding in the areas of application programming, database, and system design.

  • Experience working with common third-party add-on solutions and their integration with F&SCM.

  • In-depth functional knowledge of F&SCM enabling you to identify potential technical system issues, offer guidance, and propose immediate solutions.

  • Adept in navigating creative workarounds and circumventing technical issues.

  • Desire to learn new industries in the efforts of identifying unmet customer needs

  • Exceptional collaborator with both strong written and verbal communication abilities.

  • Ability to manage other developers to handle overflow work.

  • Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, computer science or other relevant majors or equivalent work experience.

  • Preferably holds Dynamics F&SCM certifications.
