Roles & Responsibilities

  • 5+ years of experience in a finance-related function with costing experience
  • Experience in a global environment (preferred)
  • Proficiency in financial analysis, forecasting and reporting with strong Excel data manipulation; SAP experience required; familiarity with SAC/Hyperion a plus

Requirements:

  • Lead and drive global costing strategy across Americas, EMEA, and India, standardizing processes and providing transparent cost analysis
  • Oversee standard cost setting, actual cost reporting, and variance analysis, delivering accurate, timely global costing reports
  • Partner with PM Finance and regional teams to analyze cost variances and deliver actionable insights to senior management
  • Design, implement, and maintain internal controls (DOA, risk assessments, compliance) and lead internal control initiatives across inventory, fixed assets, contracts, and reconciliations

Your main tasks

  • Lead and drive the global costing strategy across Americas, EMEA, and India to improve profitability and operational efficiency
  • Standardize global costing processes and ensure transparent, consistent cost analysis across regions
  • Oversee standard cost setting, actual cost reporting, and variance analysis at a global level
  • Partner with PM Finance and regional teams to analyze cost variances and deliver actionable insights to senior management
  • Prepare and deliver accurate, timely global costing and financial reports
  • Collaborate with regional finance teams to collect data and assess global cost performance
  • Design, implement, and maintain internal controls, including DOA, risk assessments, and compliance activities
  • Lead internal control initiatives covering inventory, fixed assets, consignment assets, contracts, and reconciliations
  • Work cross‑functionally with commercial, supply chain, procurement, and operations teams on cost‑effective strategies
  • Support global budgeting and forecasting through accurate costing inputs and analysis
  • Continuously optimize costing systems and processes, including SAP S/4HANA
  • Train and mentor local finance teams on costing best practices and internal control standards

Your ideal background

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • Prior Costing experience with strong demonstrated knowledge
  • 5+ years’ experience in Finance related function
  • Experience in a global environment preferred
  • Strong understanding of financial analysis, financial modeling, forecasting, and reporting
  • Proficiency in data manipulation using tools like Excel, experience with SAP is necessary and familiarity with SAC/Hyperion a plus
  • Interpersonal skills: exceptional verbal/written communication
  • Must be curious, mentally agile and have a bias towards continuous improvement
  • Self-driven, able to work autonomously
