Job description

We are a professional staffing firm, working with organizations across the country to place exceptional candidates. Currently, we have a Title Examiner (Remote) opportunity with a trusted leader in the title and escrow industry, known for its stability, innovative solutions, and commitment to exceptional customer service. The Title Examiner will be responsible for below specific duties.

Your specific duties will include:

Compile, investigate, and examine public and tax records to determine liabilities and the legal condition of property titles and insurability.
Prepare accurate and comprehensive title commitments in accordance with company examining and policy procedures.
Perform a wide range of support functions to assist in departmental processes.
Follow clearly defined procedures to complete daily tasks and responsibilities.
Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems without consistent need for discretion.
Communicate with internal and/or external clients and team members using basic communication skills.
Work as an individual contributor under direct supervision with limited autonomy.

Required qualifications for the position include:

High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
0–2 years of related work experience.
Experience preparing title commitments and/or title reports within a title insurance or insurance company environment.

Preferred qualifications for the position include:

Commercial title experience.

Pay Rate Range: $22.37 - $23.07 per hour

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Employees have access to healthcare benefits including medical, dental and vision as well as a 401(k) plan.
