Job description

Our client, a global engineering and technical consulting organization supporting energy and infrastructure projects, is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join its growing power systems team.

This role offers the opportunity to contribute to complex projects across transmission, distribution, and renewable energy environments. The successful candidate will work with multidisciplinary teams while supporting project delivery, technical design, and client coordination.


The experience you will bring includes:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Professional Engineering designation (P.Eng. or PE) in Canada or the United States
  • 4+ years of experience in power systems, protection and control, or related electrical engineering environments
  • Strong understanding of electrical protection systems, control systems, and power system design
  • Experience working on transmission, distribution, or renewable energy projects
  • Familiarity with industry-standard engineering tools and system analysis software
  • Strong project coordination and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities

Your responsibilities will encompass:

  • Supporting the design and development of electrical systems within power and energy projects
  • Contributing to technical documentation, system studies, and engineering deliverables
  • Collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders to support project execution
  • Assisting with project planning, scheduling, and coordination activities
  • Participating in technical discussions and providing input on engineering solutions
  • Supporting and guiding junior team members as required
