Bring control. Protect value. Keep the system honest.
When returnable packaging works well, no one notices.
Pallets move.
Data balances.
Costs stay controlled.
This role makes that happen.
Why join?
Step into a high‑trust, high‑impact role with real ownership
Work as part of a tight Pallet team delivering strong results with lean resources
Partner with experienced local and offshore colleagues
Clear expectations, strong support, and room to grow
Be backed to challenge, improve, and influence operations
Why this role matters
Our Pallet Team supports a national operation across multiple business units, managing millions of pallets annually and safeguarding significant asset value.
With a lean, high‑performing team in place, this role is critical to:
Maintaining tight controls and governance
Ensuring accurate pallet data and reconciliations
Preventing losses before they happen - not cleaning them up later
This isn’t a passive pallet role.
It’s a control point in a complex system.
What you’re here to own
You’ll sit at the control point of our national pallet team - where accuracy, discipline, and follow‑through protect real value.
Your focus is simple and critical:
Keep pallet and cage data clean, accurate, and defensible in 2IC
Ensure daily movements balance, anomalies are spotted early, and reconciliations land on time
Partner confidently with operations, customers, and our offshore pallet support team across the nation
Bring structure to complex systems (including TollWorks) and make them work as intended
When this role is done well:
Data exceptions drop
Reconciliations are closed, not chased
Risks are surfaced early - not discovered months later
The business trusts the numbers
You’ll audit, validate, question, escalate, and improve - because doing it right protects cost, service, and reputation.
Over time, you become the trusted go‑to for returnable packaging control, not just someone who processes it.
How you thrive here
Background as a Senior Pallet Controller / Pallet Manager or similar
Hands‑on experience with pallet pooling, hire equipment or Pallet governance
Transport, warehouse or logistics operations exposure
Confident Excel skills (medium–high level)
Comfortable working virtually and independently across states
Process‑driven, proactive, and confident influencing others
>If you’re looking for a role to coast - this isn’t it.
>>If you take pride in protecting value, getting the detail right, and improving how things run - you’ll thrive here.
