Genesis10 is currently seeking an Instructional Designer - Remote position located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.
Responsibilities:
- Create engaging learning activities and compelling course content that enhances retention and transfer
- Work with subject matter experts and identify target audience's training needs
- State instructional end goals and create content that matches them
- Visualize instructional graphics, the user interface and the finished product
- Conduct instructional research and analysis on learners and contexts
- Provide exercises and activities that enhance the learning process
- Work directly with Managers, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), and Learning and Development Specialists to design, develop, and deliver training solutions using multiple delivery mediums including classroom instruction, eLearning, video, and job aids
- Plan, organize and develop training curricula, materials, and programs to meet specific learning needs
- Work creatively to build engaging curriculum using a variety of methods
- Apply instructional design theories, standards and best practices to produce effective learning and development solutions
- Develop and manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables according to approved project plans
- Manage relationships with key stakeholders to evaluate and assess the success of the delivered content
- Analyze training trends and business needs by examining learner's satisfaction levels, proficiency testing and job performance metrics
Requirements:
- Experience delivering informal training
- Experience owning the development and delivery of a Leadership program, working with internal Stakeholders and SMEs to develop specific leadership content
- Experience with an audience of 5-100 with varied levels of leadership experience
- Experience with Articulate 360, Techsmith Suite, and Microsoft Suite
- This is a remote position; all work must be completed while inside U.S. borders
Pay range: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour
