Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related field
Minimum 2 years experience cloud computing in Linux environment
Minimum 2 years experience with Python or relevant programming experience

Design and architect elastic, resilient and safe applications in a timely manner
Design and implement continuous integration and continuous delivery processes to deliver special project applications to production, fostering a culture of continuous process improvement
Work collaboratively with Product Management and Platform Engineering during development, launch and continuing refinement of the platform
Collaborate with internal technical resources and third party vendors to resolve issues and to understand the causes behind the issues and provide solutions
Job description
Developer will integrate platforms with 3rd Party data sources and build API for strategic projects as well as provide generalist developer duties to support special project delivery. This individual will work with other technical experts and engineers to design, develop and deploy special project applications employing cutting edge software development through rapid product delivery, innovation and continuous integration practices.
Essential Responsibilities:
• Design and architect elastic, resilient and safe applications in a timely manner
• Design and implement continuous integration and continuous delivery processes to deliver special project applications to production, fostering a culture of continuous process improvement
• Perform Technology Alternate Assessment, create Proof-of-Concept (as necessary) Provides guidance and direction to project teams to ensure compliance with standards and best practices.
• Work collaboratively with Product Management and Platform Engineering during development, launch and continuing refinement of the platform
• Collaborate with internal technical resources and third party vendors to resolve issues and to understand the causes behind the issues and provide solutions.
• Maintain deep hands on technical knowledge development environment, infrastructure and architectures.
• Continuously learn and be at the leading edge of Pivotal and industry trends
• Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned
Qualifications/Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related field
• Minimum 2 years experience cloud computing in Linux environment
• Minimum 2 years experience with Python or relevant programming experience. Desired Characteristics:
