  • Strong functional leadership and advisory skills for SAP Benefits configuration, including best-practice defaults, benefit areas, and program groupings

Requirements:

  • Partner with client stakeholders to design and guide SAP S/4HANA Benefits solutions enabling end-to-end benefits administration (enrollment, eligibility, cost calculations, and plan management across health, insurance, savings, and retirement).
  • Lead and contribute to the configuration of SAP Benefits, including advising on infotypes and best practices for default values, benefit areas, and program groupings to ensure scalable, compliant designs.
  • Act as SME on integrations between SAP S/4HANA and external benefits platforms (e.g., Benefit Focus), including reconciliation file processes and downstream payroll impacts.
  • Lead client workshops, design sessions, and working meetings, providing strategic guidance on SAP impacts and implementation best practices, and identify opportunities for process improvement and automation in benefits administration.

Description:

Benefits Lead Consultant Develop deep expertise in SAP S/4HANA Benefits, with a strong focus on benefits enrollment processing, ensuring accurate and efficient handling of employee elections and life event changes. Partner with client stakeholders to design and guide solutions within SAP S/4HANA that support end-to-end benefits administration, including enrollment, eligibility determination, cost calculations, and ongoing plan management across health, insurance, savings, and retirement programs. Provide functional leadership and advisory support on SAP Benefits configuration, including in-depth knowledge of key infotypes (167, 168, 169, 171, 236, 377, 378, 379), and recommend best practices for default values, benefit areas, and program groupings to ensure scalable and compliant system design. Act as a subject matter expert on integrations between SAP S/4HANA and external benefits platforms such as Benefit focus, including experience with reconciliation file processes and downstream payroll impacts. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Benefit focus and Controlling/Profitability Analysis, to assess integration touchpoints, identify risks, and ensure alignment with SAP S/4HANA capabilities and constraints. Lead and actively participate in client workshops, design sessions, and working meetings, providing strategic guidance on SAP impacts, design considerations, and implementation best practices. Support payroll integration by ensuring benefits data is accurately reflected in payroll processing, including validation, reconciliation, and issue resolution. Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation within benefits administration, driving increased efficiency, data accuracy, and user experience.
