ICF Next is looking for a Senior Communication Manager to join the Client Relations Department. You will be responsible for the coordination and delivery of multi-channel communication projects for European institutions. You will act as a key liaison between clients and internal teams, ensuring strategic alignment, operational excellence, and high-quality service across all phases of campaign execution. This role requires strong project management capabilities, a deep understanding of EU affairs, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the development and implementation of 360° communication projects, including online, AV and web production, and event-based components.
  • Maintain regular contact with EU clients, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded.
  • Lead project planning, scheduling, and reporting activities, including financial tracking and KPI monitoring.
  • Facilitate collaboration across expert teams, partners, and stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery.
  • Guide and oversee junior team members, fostering a collaborative and inclusive team culture.
  • Ensure sound financial management of projects, including budget planning, monitoring of expenditure, and regular financial reporting to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure quality control and continuous improvement through lessons learned and workflow optimisation.
  • Support tender development and contribute to strategic proposals for new EU contracts.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience in managing EU-focused communication projects or working with European institutions.
  • Strong understanding of 360° communication strategies and tools.
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage complex workflows.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and client-facing communication skills.
  • Experience in coordinating junior team members
  • Financial and procurement awareness in project contexts.
  • Fluent English (written and verbal); additional EU languages are a plus.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in project or account management within the communication sector.
