Job description

About Us
Scrambly is one of the fastest-growing adtech startups in the world, featured in the AppsFlyer Performance Index and Singular ROI Index in just 3.5 years.

We’re growing 250%+ YoY across revenue, team, product, and technology — fully bootstrapped and profitable.

We’re building the future of app discovery: a reward-powered alternative to the App Store and Google Play. Our loyalty-driven ecosystem connects millions of users with the world’s top apps and delivers unmatched, ROI-focused growth for mobile advertisers.

Our mission is to build a true alternative to traditional app stores — fueled by rewards and data — and create a new, performance-first growth engine for mobile app advertisers.

About the Role
We are looking for a strong Senior Manual QA Engineer who takes full ownership of product quality.

You will be responsible for defining and driving the quality strategy for new features and releases across Scrambly’s web and mobile platforms (iOS & Android). This role is not just about executing test cases - it’s about identifying risks early, challenging requirements, and preventing production issues before they happen.

You will work on a high-traffic B2C platform serving millions of users, where quality directly impacts revenue, retention, and user trust.

Key Responsibilities

  • Quality Ownership
    • Own the end-to-end quality process for features and releases
    • Define test strategy based on risk and business impact
    • Ensure release readiness and provide QA sign-off
    • Proactively identify weak points in product flows and edge cases
  • Advanced Manual Testing
    • Perform deep functional, regression, cross-browser, and responsive testing across web and mobile platforms (iOS & Android), ensuring consistent behavior across devices, OS versions, and screen sizes
    • Validate complex flows (payments, offers, analytics events, integrations)
    • Perform API testing (Postman, Swagger) and verify data consistency
    • Validate analytics tracking and business-critical metrics
  • Risk & Defect Management
    • Identify high-risk scenarios before release
    • Document clear, reproducible defects with strong prioritization
    • Verify fixes and ensure no regressions or hidden side effects
    • Collaborate closely with developers to resolve root causes, not symptoms
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Challenge requirements and clarify ambiguities with Product
    • Validate UI accuracy against Figma (spacing, typography, behavior)
    • Ensure full requirement and edge-case coverage
    • Contribute to improving QA standards and processes

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in manual QA (web + mobile)
  • Strong understanding of risk-based testing
  • Deep knowledge of functional, regression, and cross-platform testing
  • Solid experience in REST API testing using Postman and Swagger
  • Basic SQL knowledge (PostgreSQL)
  • Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership
  • Experience with mobile proxy tools (Proxyman or similar)
  • Upper-Intermediate English (B2+) or higher

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with analytics validation tools such as Mixpanel, Segment, etc.
  • Background in fast-paced startup environments
  • Experience mentoring or supporting other QA team members
  • Work on B2C or high-traffic consumer products
  • End-to-end testing of multi-step user flows
  • Basic exposure to load or performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, k6)

What We Offer

  • Impact: Your work directly influences revenue and user experience
  • Ownership: Real responsibility and authority over release quality
  • Speed: Fast product cycles with visible results
  • Growth: A team that values strong opinions, quality standards, and proactive thinking
  • Full-time & fully remote position
  • 15 days of paid vacation days
  • 5 days of paid days off
  • 5 days of paid sick leave
  • Maternity/Paternity leave
  • National holidays based on the country of your stay
