At Vita Coco, we’re all about building teams that are energized, collaborative, and driven by purpose. We’re looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to support full life-cycle recruitment during a busy hiring period.
Location: Hybrid NYC preferred, remote optional
Pay Range: $25 - $40 per hour
Employment Type: Temporary, 3-month contract with potential to extend
Reporting to: Talent Acquisition Manager
IN A NUTSHELL, YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:
Recruiting Support
- Support the recruiting process from job posting through onboarding, assisting with roles across Corporate and Commercial teams
- Review resumes, help identify qualified candidates, and support screening efforts
- Coordinate and schedule interviews with candidates and hiring teams
- Assist with offer and onboarding logistics to ensure a smooth candidate transition
Candidate Experience
- Act as one of the first points of contact for candidates, helping create a positive experience
- Ensure timely communication and follow‑up at every stage of the hiring process
- Partner with the TA team to deliver a consistent, inclusive, and positive candidate journey
Recruiting Operations & Systems
- Maintain accuracy and organization within our Greenhouse ATS
- Manage job postings across job boards and internal systems
- Support recruiting workflows and process documentation
- Assist with recruiting metrics such as time‑to‑fill, pipeline activity, and interview volume
Team Partnership & Projects
- Partner with Recruiters and Hiring Managers to support hiring needs and scheduling priorities
- Assist with employer branding efforts, including careers page updates, social content, and campus initiatives
- Conduct research on talent market trends, competitors, and sourcing channels
- Support ad hoc Talent Acquisition projects as needed
WHAT YOU'LL BRING:
- 1-2 years of experience in recruiting coordination, HR support, in-house or agency recruitment (preferred) (internships and early‑career experience welcome)
- Exposure to recruiting across multiple functions
- Experience working with an ATS (Greenhouse strongly preferred)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Psychology, Communications, or related field

- Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
- Adaptable and comfortable supporting a variety of roles and teams
- A strong communicator with a people‑first mindset
- Collaborative, proactive, and excited to grow within Talent Acquisition/People functions
