This position can be home-based, but you must live within our Southwest (SW) Region and near a major airport.

Responsibilities:This individual will be responsible for directing a regional team of five Individual Giving and Foundation Advisors in leading the strategy and cultivation of the SW Region’s major and principal gift efforts. Responsible for fundraising results on a campaign goal of $7.5 million, and for partnering with the broader National Mission Advancement team to achieve an overall goal of $132.5 million through major and principal gifts. In addition to leading their team, the candidate will manage their own portfolio, including the cultivation, stewardship, and solicitation of individual and foundation donors with seven(+)-figure giving capacity.
In addition to achieving financial goals, you will be measured on year-over-year pipeline development that demonstrates long-term, sustainable growth. You will serve as an active, present, and engaged member of the SW Region’s senior management/leadership team to implement vision through direct collaboration with the Regional Executive Vice President (EVP) and Associate Executive Vice President (AEVP).

Salary minimum to the midpoint of the range is $158,00.00 to $239,900.00. Pay is commensurate with experience; geographic differentials may apply to the pay range. This position is eligible for an incentive, with the potential to earn up to 25% of your base pay. The American Heart Association reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range.
