Role Overview

As Director of Program Management, you will provide executive oversight across the entire project lifecycle, establishing governance frameworks that ensure successful delivery of enterprise initiatives. You will lead the strategic implementation of Apricus Specialty Networks solutions, driving operational excellence while building strong client relationships. This senior leadership position requires a visionary who can translate business requirements into actionable technology and operational solutions while maintaining accountability for program performance and client satisfaction.

 

 

Strategic Leadership & Governance

  • Establish credibility and build trusted relationships with senior leadership, role modeling commitment to customer service and operational efficiency
  • Develop and execute strategic business plans aligned with client goals and objectives
  • Identify opportunities to expand Apricus services within existing client relationships, driving revenue growth
  • Translate complex business requirements into recommended technology and operational solutions
  • Develop compelling business cases for major programs and transformation initiatives
  • Serve as strategic gatekeeper, ensuring solutions deliver either significant strategic advantage or measurable profitability
  • Work on complex, high-visibility issues requiring in-depth knowledge of company operations and industry trends

 

Project Management Excellence

  • Lead the implementation of complex, enterprise-level projects from inception through completion
  • Develop standardized project methodologies, tools, and templates to ensure consistent delivery excellence supporting both standard and customized implementations
  • Oversee project plans including resource allocation, budget management, risk mitigation, and quality assurance
  • Implement sophisticated tracking mechanisms providing real-time visibility into project health
  • Drive accountability for deliverable acceptance and oversee post-implementation reviews
  • Manage project portfolio and execution governance across multiple initiatives simultaneously

 

Client Relationship Management

  • Serve as the primary executive contact during service delivery
  • Gather senior stakeholder feedback to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction
  • Lead high-impact presentations and strategic meetings with C-suite audiences
  • Conduct comprehensive business reviews, providing actionable insights and recommendations
  • Serve as the senior escalation point for critical customer issues, ensuring swift resolution
  • Employ advanced negotiation skills and executive influence with key stakeholders

 

Operational Leadership

  • Direct and control activities across multiple functional areas through department managers
  • Ensure budgets and schedules meet corporate requirements while maximizing return on investment
  • Own performance scorecards and implement data-driven processes to ensure quality service
  • Recommend and implement strategic changes to methodologies and processes
  • Provide transparent communication regarding solution options, timelines, and costs to leadership

 

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree required; master’s degree in business administration or related field preferred
  • PMP certification or equivalent preferred
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in program/project management
  • 5+ years of leadership experience managing cross-functional teams
  • Demonstrated experience in healthcare, workers' compensation, or specialty services preferred
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and relationship management skills
  • Proven track record of successful program delivery and client relationship growth
  • Experience with strategic planning and execution at an enterprise level
  • Ability to influence and collaborate with executive stakeholders across multiple business units
  • Ability to demonstrate a high degree of professionalism, diplomacy and leadership in managing internal and external teams through the project lifecycle.

Benefits eligibility may differ depending on full-time or part-time status. Compensation depends on the applicable US geographic market. The expected base pay for this position ranges from $133,000 - $150,000 annually, and will be based on a number of additional factors including skills, experience, and education.
