"Key Responsibilities

Architecture & Strategy

• Designing and implementing cloud-based data warehouses using Azure Synapse Analytics (formerly SQL DW) to create a single source of truth.
• Building pipelines with Azure Data Factory (ADF) or Azure Databricks to ingest, transform, and load data from diverse sources into the warehouse.
• Developing dimensional models (fact and dimension tables) within the Gold layer of the Medallion architecture to enable efficient BI reporting.
• Tuning SQL queries, managing indexes, partitioning, and scaling Synapse compute resources to maintain high performance.
• ntegrating structured relational data with unstructured data from Azure Data Lake Analyze COBOL programs, copybooks, JCL workflows, CICS/IMS transactions, DB2 schemas, and VSAM files.

• 10+ years of experience SSRS , Databricks, Data Lake Storage Gen2, Azure
• 10+ Analysis Services
• CI/CD, Git, Jenkins/GitHub/Azure DevOps pipelines
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills."

Role Descriptions:

Design and develop SQL Server stored procedures| functions| views and triggers to be used during the ETL processDesigning and developing SSIS SQL ETL solutions to acquire and prepare data from numerous upstream systems for processing by QRMBuilds data transformations with SSIS including importing data from files| moving data from one database platform to anotherDebug and tune SSIS or other ETL processes to ensure accurate and efficient movement of dataDesign| implement and maintain database objects (tables| views| indexes| ) and database securityExperience working with SSIS packagesProficient with ETL tools such as Microsoft SSISAnalyze and develop strategies and approaches to import and transfer data between source| staging| and ODSData Warehouse destinationsTest and prepare ETL processes for deployment to production and non-production environmentsSupport system and acceptance testing including the development or refinement of test plans Essential Skills: monitoring job execution| troubleshooting performance issues| optimizing SQL queries| and ensuring data integrity and security through robust SSIS package development.
