Job description

About Radformation

Radformation is transforming the way cancer clinics deliver care. Our innovative software automates and standardizes radiation oncology workflows, enabling clinicians to plan and deliver treatments faster, safer, and more consistently, so patients everywhere can receive the same high-quality care.

Our software focuses on three key areas:

  • Time savings through automation
  • Error reduction through automated systems
  • Increased quality care through advanced algorithms and workflows

We are a fully remote, mission-driven team united by a shared goal: to reduce cancer’s global impact and help save more of the 10 million lives it claims each year. Every line of code, every product release, and every conversation with our customers brings us closer to ensuring no patient’s treatment quality depends on where they live.

Why This Role Matters

In this role, you will help ensure the quality, safety, and reliability of ClearCheck, an automated plan check and documentation software that ensures the highest quality treatment plans and helps clinics save time with in-depth plan checks, quick plan comparison, and instant documentation.

You will work directly with the Product Manager, another QA Manager, and the engineering team to test new product versions, investigate and solve issues, and support medical device documentation. Your clinical expertise will help ensure ClearCheck meets both clinical and regulatory standards while improving efficiency in radiation oncology clinics worldwide.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Ensure product quality by testing new versions of ClearCheck prior to release
  • Execute verification and validation (V&V) testing to ensure product integrity and performance
  • Investigate and troubleshoot issues identified during testing and from clinical users
  • Coordinate with Success and Support teams for troubleshooting assistance and clinic setup
  • Share feedback with the Product Manager and engineering team to improve functionality
  • Generate documentation for product-related materials
  • Support medical device documentation in collaboration with the Regulatory team, including defining requirements, outlining testing conditions, executing and documenting testing, and mitigating software risks

Required Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience as a clinical medical physicist or dosimetrist
  • Direct treatment planning experience
  • Extensive plan validation across multiple treatment techniques and modalities
  • Validation and verification experience
  • Experience implementing AAPM Task Group reports related to plan verification systems

Preferred Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience as a clinical medical physicist or dosimetrist using Radformation products, particularly ClearCheck
  • Experience planning with multiple treatment planning systems
  • Product testing and/or verification experience
  • Customer service experience
