10+ years of progressively responsible IT project management, systems analysis, and systems integration experience in large-scale or mission-critical environments, including at least 5 years in lead or supervisory roles
Bachelor’s degree is required; Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent) preferred
PMP or PgMP certification required (or equivalent); ITIL, Agile (Scrum Master/SAFe), or DAWIA Level III PM certifications highly desirable
Requirements:
Lead and manage IRS IT programs/projects through full lifecycle (initiation through closure) to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery
Direct multidisciplinary teams and coordinate with IRS business units and IT enterprise processes, managing multiple tasks concurrently (4–6 month engagements)
Ensure compliance with federal standards and security frameworks (FISMA, NIST SPs, RMF, ISCM) and oversee IT security engineering, risk assessments, and security architecture

Of those, at least 5 years must be in a lead or supervisory capacity, managing multidisciplinary teams and overseeing the full lifecycle of complex IT initiatives.
Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience) is preferred.
Bachelor’s degree required.
Project Management Professional (PMP) or Program Management Professional (PgMP) certification required or equivalent.
ITIL, Agile (Scrum Master/SAFe), or DAWIA Level III PM certifications are highly desirable.
Knowledge of FISMA, NIST Special Publications, OMB, Risk Management Framework (RMF), and ISCM Plan development.
