SUMMARY:
The Senior Proposals Manager plays a critical leadership role in the proposal development process, ensuring strategic alignment, quality, and efficiency. This role supports the Proposals team and assists the Proposals leader in setting department standards, defining processes, and mentoring team members while independently managing high-priority proposals. The Senior Proposals Manager oversees complex RFPs/RFIs, provides guidance on proposal strategy, and leads cross-functional teams to ensure timely, high-quality proposal submissions. Additionally, this role is responsible for driving process improvements, standardizing best practices, and ensuring proposals effectively communicate value to clients.

QUALIFICATIONS:
· Excellent communication/presentation skills including exceptional persuasive writing skills.
· Ability to deliver compliant, professionally produced proposals within customer agreed upon timeframes.
· Strong organizational skills, including the ability effectively prioritize multiple project deadlines.
· Ability to handle multiple complex projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities and assignments in a fast-paced environment.
· Highly independent, self-starter who accomplishes objectives with minimal direction from manager.
· Ability to accept input from all levels of internal and external stakeholders and distill information to create clear and effective proposals.
· Skilled in interacting positively with a team and effectively collaborating with others cross functionally.
· Comfortable “managing up” to ensure proposal contributors are providing content within the proposal timeframe.
· Advanced proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) and experience with SharePoint required.
· Knowledge of clinical research/healthcare industry proposal best practices.
· Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communication, English or another related field.· Six (6) or more years of experience in a similar role. · Minimum three (3 years) of healthcare, pharmaceutical, and/or CRO industry experience required· Experience with developing site budgets or grants is required. ENVIRONMENT:This is a remote position based on the location of the incumbent’s home and operating in a home-office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, printers, copiers, and phones.Minimal travel (up to 10%) may be required to support the position’s responsibilities. Some flexibility in hours is allowed, but the employee must be available during the “core” work hours of 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
