  • Define, monitor, and evolve KPIs, manage multiple projects and agency partners (AOR, P2P, Media), and conduct HCP Advisory Board and Market Research to inform strategy
  • Represent argenx at industry conferences, build relationships with key opinion leaders, and collaborate cross-functionally with Global Commercial, Medical, US Medical, US HCP, Patient Marketing, Field Sales, Market Access, Compliance, Legal and Regulatory to ensure compliant, timely tactics

We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Director, HCP Launch Readiness and Strategy Lead to launch empasiprubart in Multifocal Motor Neuropathy (MMN). This high-impact and fast paced role will drive cross-functional execution to ensure market readiness for a therapy poised to transform the MMN treatment landscape.

This role is pivotal and represents a major milestone in the company’s evolution, supporting the launch of empasiprubart, argenx’s second therapeutic asset. It is a critical milestone in advancing argenx’s long‑term growth and portfolio diversification.

This role will report to the Senior Director of US HCP Marketing and will partner closely with key internal and external cross-functional partners.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and execution of launch and commercialization tactics
  • Develop and execute positioning, messaging, disease state and branded campaigns and tactics.
  • Lead the development and execution of the US HCP vaccination strategy for empasiprubart in close partnership with Medical, Global, Legal/Compliance & Patient Engagement teams
  • Identify and implement solutions to streamline vaccination processes for HCPs to reduce delays to treatment initiation
  • Design and optimize HCP engagement journeys across channels
  • Lead HCP Advisory Board and Market Research planning and execution to generate and synthesize relevant customer insights to inform message and tactical evolution
  • Define, monitor, and evolve KPIs to assess performance and guide strategic adjustments
  • Execute multiple, simultaneous projects and manage resources to ensure deliverables are on time, on budget, and address business objectives
  • Management of key agency partners, including AOR, P2P, Media in the development and execution of market development and branded campaigns and tactics
  • Represent argenx at industry conferences and build relationships with key opinion leaders and other key stakeholders
  • Collaborate and co-create with multiple functional groups within the organization, including but not limited to Global Commercial & Medical organizations, US Medical, US HCP & Patient Marketing, Field Sales, Training, Market Access, Compliance, Legal and Regulatory
  • Partner closely with Legal, Regulatory and Medical Affairs to effectively navigate Promotional Material Review process, prioritize and ensure timely and compliant development of HCP-directed tactics

Education, Experience and Qualifications:

  • BS/BA degree (science or business degree preferred); MBA is a plus
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in marketing in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry
  • US in-market commercial launch experience preferred
  • Rare disease and/or Neurology experience preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to translate key insights and metrics into strategies and tactical execution
  • Ability to synthesize insights, define leading and lagging KPIs, and adapt strategy based on performance.
  • Experience effectively managing external agency partners, and collaborating with cross-functional teams and internal/external stakeholders to effectively implement strategies and programs
  • Agility, proven ability to influence without authority and cross-functional collaboration
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and prioritize work to achieve positive results
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to challenge status quo, make quick decisions, act with a sense of urgency and focus/prioritize efforts across the team and the organization
  • Understanding of the legal and regulatory environment in pharmaceutical promotions
  • Strong project management, communication, and organization skills
  • Travel 30%

For applicants in the United States: The annual base salary hiring range for this position is $168,000.00 - $231,000.00 USD. This range reflects our good faith estimate at the time of posting. Individual compensation is determined using objective, inclusive, and job-related criteria such as relevant experience, skills, demonstrated competencies and internal equity. This means actual pay may differ from the posted range when justified by these factors. Because market conditions evolve, pay ranges are reviewed regularly and may be adjusted to remain aligned with external benchmarks.

This job is eligible to participate in our short-term and long-term incentive programs, subject to the terms and conditions of those plans and applicable policies.
