Requirements:

  • Operate as an HRIS Analyst supporting Workday HCM with primary responsibility for Core HCM, Benefits, and Compensation modules and translate business needs into Workday processes; prepare Excel files and EIBs for mass data changes
  • Own QA, data stewardship, and loading of Workday EIBs to support cycles such as Year-End, Open Enrollment, annual compensation, job changes, and regulatory updates
  • Support testing and implementation of Workday releases; troubleshoot system issues and provide end-user support
  • Participate in Agile processes (PI Planning, Sprint Reviews) and maintain high levels of customer service in line with SLAs; collaborate with Product Owners to deliver business value

Huron’s Enterprise Solutions team is comprised of business-minded technology professionals responsible for the ongoing optimization of our portfolio through product strategy, solution delivery, and support. Our team partners closely with business stakeholders to identify challenges and opportunities to drive efficiency and create real outcomes for our business. The Enterprise portfolio focuses primarily on Workday and includes integrations with various supporting and complementary solutions.

HRIS Analyst Responsibilities:

  • Operate as an HRIS Analyst supporting Workday HCM, with primary responsibility for Core HCM, Benefits, and Compensation modules.
  • Partner with Workday Product leads (HCM Core, BEN and Comp SME’s) to translate business needs into Workday business process solutions and provide operational support where needed during specific cycles throughout the year. Prepare Excel files and EIBs for mass data changes.
  • Be able to own the QA, data stewardship, and loading of Workday EIBs to support specific processes as needed, such as Year-End, M&A, Business Development, and other cyclic processes.
  • Support Year End Processes Open Enrollment, annual compensation cycles, job changes, and regulatory updates.
  • Support testing and implementation of Workday releases.
  • Troubleshoot system issues and support end users.

Agile Methodology

  • Adopt Agile Principles & Methodology – be knowledgeable and follow Agile development processes
  • PI Planning & Sprint Reviews – meet with core team to understand capacity, plan work, and review Sprint results, contributing to positive velocity and burndown.

Job Requirements:

  • At least 1-2 years of experience in the areas of Workday HCM, Benefits and Compensation is required. 
  • Workday configuration experience is desired, but candidates with the appropriate business knowledge who are very proficient at learning and adopting complex systems would also be considered for this role.
  • Detailed experience with, and understanding of, Workday’s Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB) platform and schema.
  • Functional experience with the ownership, QA, and execution of mass data changes/uploads strongly preferred.
  • Strong Excel skills. While most of the work will be in Workday, strong Excel skills are necessary for periodic data loads into Workday.
  • Excellent communication skills, oral and written, and the interpersonal skills needed quickly to establish relationships of trust and collaboration.  Being able to translate business requirements into technical solutions, talk through options, and help eliminate roadblocks. 

Flexible living locations, Remote role with 1/week a year for onsite meetings 

The estimated base salary range for this job is $60,000 - $80,000 USD.  The range represents a good faith estimate of the range that Huron reasonably expects to pay for this job at the time of the job posting. The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to specific skills or certifications, years of experience, market changes, and required travel. This job is also eligible to participate in Huron’s annual incentive compensation program, which reflects Huron’s pay for performance philosophy.  Inclusive of annual incentive compensation opportunity, the total estimated compensation range for this job is $64,800 - $89,200 USD. The job is also eligible to participate in Huron’s benefit plans which include medical, dental and vision coverage and other wellness programs. The salary range information provided is in accordance with applicable state and local laws regarding salary transparency that are currently in effect and may be implemented in the future.
